Kaylee was an excellent server and even made fresh coffee for my friend. We all got chicken and it was juicy and filling. Lots of food for the money.

What a fabulous resturaunt- fantastic interesting food.. the service was beyond outstanding and the ambiance was so relaxing- would eat here again when in Atlanta- we went for brunch !!

Barbecue shrimp and collards were delicious. My husband had the crab soup and although it had a pretty presentation, he wasn't impressed. And FYI, the happy hour is for bar sitters only.

Food was amazing (we went for brunch) and service was lovely. I would definitely eat here again.

Great place with fantastic southern food. Biggest hits were fried green tomatoes and fried chicken. Service was pure southern hospitality.

The staff was terrific! I arrived early and we closed the place down. We were talking a lot and the waitress helped us pick some appetizers and entrees. The appetizers were great… the entrees good. The experience was a bit like a bar- loud but fun.

I last ate at South City Kitchen some 25 years ago for my in laws 50th anniversary. It is as good now as it was then. I came in with friends to a performance at Symphony hall and we parked in the lot across from the restaurant and walked there and walked back. The food was yummy, the staff was welcoming, I only give it a four star instead of five because the sauce with the trout was not what I thought it would be but not a situation to return the meal. I would come here again and again for the food, the convenience of driving 65 miles during rush hour to eat and attend a performance and the feeling of relaxation while enjoying the dining experience.

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, lively, and full of Southern charm. We were greeted by the host/manager who opened the door for us to enter which we really appreciated as it was raining and we were juggling umbrellas. The food was absolutely outstanding. The fried green tomatoes were hands-down the best I’ve ever had — perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside with a touch of goat cheese. We were excited to try their famous fried chicken. We were not disappointed! The fried chicken was golden, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. The she-crab soup was rich and creamy - perfect for a rainy day. Lastly, the key lime pie was the best we've ever had -- not too limey. The cocktails deserve their own mention — beautifully crafted, balanced, and full of flavor. You can tell the bartenders take real pride in what they do. Between the food, the drinks, and the atmosphere, this restaurant delivers a true taste of Southern hospitality done right!
