Southern Bistro

Just had lunch. Food wasn’t bad. The hostess has a nasty attitude. I was waiting for someone I haven’t even met before and just wanted to check if there was any waiting time. The hostess then tried to sit me down, but I explained to her that i was just checking to see if there’s a waiting time and preferred to wait for my party outside. She rolled her eyes at me in such an unnecessarily stuck up manner.
Then when my party arrived, we walked in and there was nobody up front and plenty of open tables, so we went and sat by the window.
The hostess came back and lectured us about waiting to be seated next time as she handed me a menu with crumbs still on it. Very rude and unprofessional.
Whatever is going on in her personal life should be left at the door if she’s going to work in the service industry. Her entire vibe was rude and obnoxious. But our server was ok and the food was alright.

Southern Bistro is fantastic! Their Southern-American food is delicious, especially the Brioche French Toast and Fried Chicken, and don't skip the buttermilk biscuits! The cozy atmosphere and friendly, attentive and friendly service make every visit a joy. It's the perfect spot for a satisfying meal in a welcoming setting, whether you're dining with family or enjoying a solo treat.

Had a late lunch with a donor and the place was very elegant. The food service was quick and the food was great. I had the salad while my guest had the fried tomatoes and bacon sandwich.

I came here with my girlfriend today and was completely disappointed. The food was okay, service okay, but I was given coffee in a dirty cup and both my girlfriend and myself had underripe peaches and rotting berries in our fruit. When I spoke to the manager, he seemed like he couldn’t give less of a damn about it. Will not be coming back.

Food is fresh and always exceptional. Crab cakes on Thursday are chock full of crab, minimal filler and not overly spicy.

Our server was great, the deviled eggs were delicious, the chilaquiles skillet were alright. Other people from our table ordered the chicken and waffles and those looked great.

Dined at Southern Bistro for lunch. We ordered shrimp & grits and grilled salmon. Both entrees were excellent. Unfortunately, I ordered a slice of caramel pound cake to go which was a bit dry.

Service started out great, but slowed down once our plates were removed. We waited about 15 minutes to order dessert and request the check.

Food is fresh and tasty. Dishes are current and chef driven. Service is good. Really can’t think of any complaints. Perhaps more parking, but thats not their fault. We will definitely return. A lot of old people and retirees dine here which confirms taste value and service IMO.
