One of the worst experiences I've had in a while. Glass of wine 18.50, four shrimp 19.00, dark and gloomy inside . Parking $40, I could probably guess food was heated air fryer because the smell of food was none. Ran out of egg rolls after first order. Located in the corner next to smoke shop. Don't be fooled to any reviews with anything more than a 2 star. These people should be ashamed. Not to mention you charging for drinks but drinking out of cups.....low class at its finest.....never again oh ok the help was nice at asking every 5 minutes do u need anything. No dessert in the display cabinet.....rip off.
False advertising food and drink prices online other than that it’s cool lil vibe wouldn’t considered it upscale though.. They show one price online and when you get their they charge triple the price that was advertised. $40 for 6 piece wings a fry with bottle of water. Ok cool. None of The staff don’t greet you not even the owners if you not a celeb they will just stare at you or give a fake grin ?

After years of following Sovereign Sweets on IG, and admiring the owner Vinny’s entrepreneurial spirit displayed across social media - the real-life experience and the online façade of this place is NOT the same. Meh, then again maybe it is LOL.I’ve read the reviews - all of them, and I can see why there are so many 5⭐️ reviews. Inconsistency. Expectation. Perspective. This place suffers from inconsistency. Two drinks - one good, one not good. Three different food items ordered at the same time - one AMAZING, the other two cold, and seemingly warmed over from a previous service. Some of us have experienced upscale service, food, drinks and vibes elsewhere, so at Sovereign Sweets, some will be okay with the vibes; those who know better, won’t. Lastly, perspective. If a ratchet, “good” time is your vibe, or you’re impressed with local Atlanta “celebrities” (a term I think we all use too loosely in general), or you have low expectations for what an upscale establishment in Buckhead should give, then perhaps Sovereign Sweets is for you.Waiting to get a drink from the bar - just watching the ladies behind the bar pour, they’re just moving like robots - unfriendly, unwelcoming, don’t engage when asked what they like or what their specialty drink is - like they’re bothered by someone not robotically ordering one of their over-priced drinks. Seemingly indignant when we asked for Ginger Ale or ginger beer for our Bulleit bourbon. Craziest thing….when I was there (for a day party on a Saturday, late afternoon), I waited at the bar maybe 20 minutes. When I was finally second in line - EVERYONE behind the bar disappeared! No “be right back” just GONE. A few minutes later - they’re all delivering bottle service (with the sparklers, fanfare, and pomp) to a nearby table LOL. Meanwhile the bar - COMPLETELY unserviced. A few minute later - the ladies behind the bar return, and continue their lackluster and unfriendly service. Oh, they add a 20% gratuity automatically - so I guess they don’t feel the need to provide quality service.While I was there for a special event, I’ve seen enough to know I never need to go back.
The manager Quay and the security Will were the best part of the visit. The food was okay but lacked presentation, the service was ehhh, the DJ was late, the bartender was not knowledgeable on drinks, but we made the best of things and enjoyed the night.
