My first time coming here. I was in town on a business trip and met some friends for dinner. Nice little spot. Unfortunately, they were out of a lot of items. It was taco Tuesday but they were out of oxtail tacos and oxtail quesadillas. They were out of the oxtail dip and oxtail egg rolls as well. I asked if they had the oxtail dinner and was told yes. But you can't make the tacos, quesadilla, dip or egg rolls??? The jerk chicken tacos were tasty once I asked for some coleslaw to give it some texture. The turkey wings were ok. I thought they were smothered but are fried. But tasty. Their version of Cole slaw is good, spicy. The seafood dip was the best part of the meal. Overall, the customer service was good and we had a good time. They do sell hookahs and someone started smoking marijuana near the bar.

It was mediocre! My server was great! I went during lunch throughout the week. The food specials didn’t apply. The hookah company was late & specials didn’t apply either. I was let down compared to the online reviews. I think it’s

Service standards not met. For a party of 5 to be one of the only few tables in the restaurant, the service was dreadfully slow. Took about 15 minutes just to receive water after seating. Asked for hookah…it was never made. Food was subpar. One of my friends Buckhead Burger came out after the rest of the party was finished eating. Claimed they were just waiting for fresh fries to be made. They did comp has burger for the inconvenience. It wasn’t the servers fault but they clearly are understaffed..which is understandable. However, service could have been much better. 1st time there and last.

False advertising of specials. Very disappointing to ask for specials advertising on their Instagram to be told that a post from 5 weeks ago is incorrect. Advertising a dish at a certain price from 11am-6pm each day. The staff's attitude and nonchalant behavior really added to the issue. We decided to not order anything else, unfortunately we had already ordered drinks, and leave. Thankfully Buckhead has plenty of happy hour that accurate post their specials.

Very basic, Atmosphere, basic Food, basic Drinks, basic customer service, BAD Another place in Atlanta that nickles and dimes. Serves mediocre food, with expensive drinks that taste like premix, you get at the grocery store.

Went there today. The food was just okay. I had the oxtail with black rice. The rice came out cold and I told them about that and it came back out cold again. My remedy was to get oxtail gravy, which was hot. As far as the oxtail goes, it was tough and quite salty. On the good side, the atmosphere is great. I would try it again and try something else.

Thought this would’ve been a good place to go but boy was I wrong. Food was mid and the service we got was awful. Will never recommend this place to anyone nor will I ever bring my business back here. Our server (won’t drop his name) was rude and I couldn’t overlook that. Just thought I’d share my personal experience at this place!

Service was horrible, we waited an hour for food 20 mins before they took our drink order and they weren't busy at all. The waiter had no regard for us as customers. Then when the food came they cooked it last week and warmed it in the microwave. I would have given zero stars but Google make you give 1.

The bartenders Mattie & Aaron was so welcoming. Drinkssss babayyyyy oooh weeee. Mattie made a wine so fierce that I wanted without hesistation 4. Let's get into the food A. Oxtail Tacos ? damn I wanted to find the Ox to "say I'm sorry but bro u tasted good" and that danggone Port-au-prince snapper (and being a Haitian myself) I said nope to myself it's going to be trash... WELL there was no pick up of trash on this day or week because LORDDDDDDDYYYYYY my tastebuds was exhilarated to the upmost!.. yes yes & yes pleasantly pleased!!!. and you better know Chef Ali in that Kitchen is ensuring that anything & everythinh exited out of it...is SUPERB. We’ve come here every single time we come to ATL bc we come from out of town. I know how restaurants are in this area so we usually don’t trip too much over pricing. So here’s where they fall. We’ve been here 4 times. 1x my and my hubby and 3x with family. This 3rd time we came with my in laws. We noticed the price coming up a bit last time but we got a good amount of food with it, but this time was this place was such trash. The food was at least 26$ a plate with minimal serving. The last time we came here and ordered the jerk meal we got a full quarter leg and then some. This time we got a drum stick and a piece of unidentifiable part of the chicken. Ntm our server was very short and curt. Which we’ve noticed they have a high turner over of servers but each time we came they were so nice and jovial. This guy was unhappy he was here, short with us and rude. Me and my SIL didn’t get our plates and when we mentioned it he forgot about bringing my plate even tho it was ready and he told my sis that “she never said that but I’ll place the order” for her order when she definitely did bc we all heard her. But maybe he didn’t here her over the attitude he had when he came but regardless, do better. ATL already has a bad rep for the restaurants here and we kinda let it slide with this place bc we’re a mixed culture family with Caribbean roots but I can tell you also from NY with the best Jamaican food none of this food would be this over priced and under quality. So maybe clean up the fluctuations a bit and be more consistent and you may have better reviews/customers. Bc every time we come it be a lil bit of people in there. One thing I don’t like that’s really affects this place is lack of consistency. The staff changes, the food changes, the menu changes. This isn’t good for business alone but for me I’m not coming to a place to spend money and not know what I’m getting each time. We dropped $270 here on meals and drinks but rest assured after last night, we not doing again for a restaurant that doesn’t work with its consumers and doesn’t provide consistency. Not worth it at all.
