Good drinks and food. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

I love the vibe walking in - a few people seated alone, working, quiet. Nice music, perfect volume. Barista hums along in tune, I don’t mind. I can focus on my work, the music moving me along. “What can I get for you?” was said to me promptly, but not impatiently. The transaction involved the perfect amount of interaction. I typically dislike getting asked my name at coffee shops but the purely businesslike, tactical feel of the question here was comforting and I didn’t mind it. The seating area is more spacious than I could assess from outside. I love that they have self-serve water. I’ll be back to try food next time.

Rude staff
Update: The owner reached out asking for more details, which I provided by email as requested. I never received any response.
Leaving this review to say that Katie and Juliette are STELLAR! They answered my questions about the drinks so thoughtfully, and actually changed my opinion about Spiller. On a lot of previous visits, I’ve loved the coffee+food but hated the service. It made me weary of popping by unless I didn’t have any other options. These ladies changed my mind about this place, and have helped me decide to come way more often. Still haven’t always had the best customer service there in the past, but if I see them- I know I’ll get treated well! And it made me hopeful that management is training more thoughtfully on front of house. If you’re looking for great coffee and food, swing on by. Highly recommend the mud matcha drink- and I’d love to see it in a larger size option! 💚

The price of avocado toast being $16 WITHOUT an egg then adding one on top lord knows how much is ridiculous. Taking advantage of people by charging that much is honestly ridiculous. I don’t want to hear about “quality” or paying employees either. Every business has to pay their employees.
A piece of toast, some avocado, and a drizzle of oil should not be anything past $10 let alone $16+
Also on top of that the employees don’t even seem like they want to be there either then there’s a tip option. Yea let me go ahead and add a $3 tip to my insanely overpriced toast while barely being spoken to.
Their coffee is okay though, still overpriced. 1.25 or whatever for a drop of syrup lmfao
Outstanding customer service and coffee. I highly recommend this place.

I walked into Spiller for the first time today and was immediately struck by how unwelcoming the experience was. The woman at the front, wearing a dark green shirt, stood with her arms crossed and gave off the clear impression that she’d rather be anywhere else. When I asked a simple question, she responded with a single word — no eye contact, no warmth. Easily one of the most unpleasant customer service encounters I’ve had.
As for the coffee, it was unfortunately just as lackluster for $9 spent on a latte — overly sweet with barely any espresso flavor. I won’t be returning.

The coffee was genuinely incredibly good, but it was shocking to have to pay nearly $8 for a latté. Still, it’s easy to admit that their coffee is the perfect way to start the day.

This is what people are talking about when they make fun of Atlanta coffee culture. Prices are way too high for what you get and baristas are rude, barely look you in the eye or respond when you say thank you. Adding a flavor/syrup is $1.25 extra on top of the expensive coffee, and cinnamon sugar toast is SIX dollars. Avocado toast with egg is over $17. Don't go here

It's the kind of place that instantly makes you want to curl up with a good book.
But it's not just about the looks; the coffee is fantastic. I ordered a caramel iced latte, and the barista clearly knew their craft. It was smooth, perfectly frothed & delicious. They also had a tempting array of pastries on display but nothing was vegan.
The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel like a regular even on my first visit. Whether you're looking for a quiet spot to work, a cozy nook to catch up with a friend, or simply a delicious cup of coffee, I wholeheartedly recommend Spiller Park Coffee. It's a little gem in Toco hills ✨️
