Make sure you keep your receipt with the tip lines filled out and then check your credit card statement! The bar staff decided to treat themselves to extra tip on my credit card. I only noticed when doing my expense report for work and cross referenced the picture I took of the receipt to my online credit card statement. It wasn’t much and I bet they thought no one would notice but multiply that by the thousands of people they serve and it could add up quickly.

We were walking around The Battery, trying to decide on a lunch spot, and opted for Sports and Social. We approached the hostess podium stationed outside the restaurant, we did not have a reservation and requested an outside table for three. We were seated almost immediately. I scanned the QR code on the table to pull up the food and drink menu. After a few minutes, our server came by to take our drink order. I ordered the Terrapin High & Hazy, Wifey ordered her favorite Blue Moon, and my daughter ordered a sweet tea. We reviewed the food menu; the options were pretty good, with a good variety but not overwhelming. When our server returned with our drinks, I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich with tater tots, wifey ordered the Shrimp and Grits, and my daughter ordered the Classic Cheeseburger with Tater tots. Unfortunately, our outside table was not getting any direct sunlight, but we were still able to enjoy the sights and people-watch. Sports and Social also had a DJ playing some upbeat classics from the '90s. He definitely had us dancing in our seats. I walked around the interior and there was a nice sized bar, games and TVs everywhere. There was an enormous TV screen on the back wall; perfect to watch your favorite sporting event. Our food came out pretty quickly, and we started digging in. Earlier, I asked if the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich was spicy, and our server told me it was, and she did not lie. I could tell it was spicy from the first bite. The outer coating was a little chalky, like uncooked flour, but I still enjoyed it. Wifey and daughter also enjoyed their meals. Our server, Prenise, was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely return to try some other options.

Lively party atmosphere! Great music ? selections .. Wonderful staff! [Justin / the bartender] was the life of our party & made our quick visit a rememorable one! Lots of indoor & outdoor seating & the largest television I've ever seen! ? The nachos ? are highly recommended!

Terrible experience. Waited 90 minutes after ordering, for refills and food, before giving up and asking for our check. Then they tried to charge us for the food and refills we never got, saying that it was coming out soon.
