Not open to the public. Shouldn’t be on maps if they won’t let people in.

Rude person in the drive-through saying that you have to purchase something for water when every single Starbucks gives you water for free.

A wonderful quick service Starbucks location. Located inside Piedmont Hospital with a gift shop, conveniently located right across the hall. Also connected to a Panera bread. A wonderful addition to the best hospital in Atlanta.

They do not close at 9pm. We arrived at 7:44pm and it was closed.

In extreme disbelief from the lack of customer service and overall humanity from this group of employees. I asked for a cup of ice for my father who is in critical care at the hospital because the ice machine is BROKEN and I was told I had to pay for the ice with extreme hostility. The employee reluctantly gave me the ice, and refused to let go of the cup in which I had to yank it from his hand. The entire act was petty, and down right unprofessional.

Nice Starbucks and decent amount of space, but you do need to be hospital staff or a visitor to use it. Personal orders by the general public aren’t usually allowed. I didn’t know, made a mobile order, and stopped on a morning walk in the neighborhood. I had to explain my situation (I had my dog with me too) to get in the entry and be allowed past the front desk of the hospital. I’ve no complaints about that, but it isn’t clear in the Google Map or the Starbucks app.

I often complain about the fact that Atlanta doesn't have enough community-building local coffeeshops, and usually blame Starbucks as the culprit (it out-competes them). However, some Starbucks do still provide a valuable service, such as this one:
This is really a great Starbucks -- big square room, nice tables to sit at and browse the web, comfortable wooden chairs, the right level of light and noise (not too quiet, not too loud). The coffee is good (better than Jittery Joes, which is unfortunate, given that JJs is "local"), and the food is good.
And the service is truly excellent, and the workers are very friendly and know me by name.
