The food was mediocre at best, and the service was worse. We received our drinks after our entrees and our server was either missing in action or hovering over our table every 90 seconds. The atmosphere on the patio is really nice, but overall disappointed with everything else.
Restaurant seemed out of place at Buckhead Village District. Food was simple, but good. Strange to have it all served in/on disposable bowls/plates. Ambiance was casual, perfect for a dinner w/friends after work.
Made a reservation and was told they did not have chairs. They didn't have real plates. The food was real sub par and the service matched. Will not be back. Looking forward to whatever restaurant takes over this space.
Didn't have enough chairs for us at first, got orders incorrect multiple times, took forever for us to just get utensils. Then they have the nerve to automatically include a 22% tip????
We were disappointed to learn when we were seated for a 7:45 reservation the kitchen closed at 8 so we needed to hurry to get any orders in. Then shortly thereafter while we are eating and enjoying my husband's birthday, we are told the bar and restaurant closes soon as well at 9-9:30. The food was very good. The staff was wonderful. I just wish for a Saturday night, we had known since we had planned for a later dinner. We had tickets for a 10:30 Buckhead Theater show and would have chosen a different restaurant in the area. We were hurried and disappointed.
Had really high hopes as I'm a fan of the owners other restaurants, but this one fell flat. Got margaritas and the salsa and guacamole trio. The margaritas were average and the trio was quite bland. Not worth the price. It was a Sunday at noon and we were the only ones at the restaurant.
We really loved the guacamole, queso, salsa trio and the chips.....really tasty and fresh!! The drinks are quite delicious and the enchiladas verdes were alright. The tacos (we tried a few) were so so. They were a bit glumpy and some of the meat was diced into little cubes (rather than tender and shredded) with no taste but the sauce. I had to compensate by adding lots of guacamole on them. We will return just for the trio and margaritas!
We were the only people in the restaurant on Sunday for brunch. The drinks are tiny and a weird artificial green color. Guac was good. Chairs are awkward stools that desperately need backs. Place has such potential - hope it gets better!
After enjoying several good meals here, we were disappointed in the service yesterday (meals sporadically delivered, with some guests left waiting for their entrees). Soup and other entrees were delivered cold, which was disappointing. They were not busy at all, which made things even more puzzling.
The music was so loud you had to almost yell across the table. With everyone yelling it made the noise level almost unbearable. They need to turn the music down when so many people are dining inside the restaurant.

Very disappointing experience. I really wanted to like this place and had high hopes since it's the same owners as Storico and Yeppa (which we love). The prices are way too high and the portions are tiny. My children were asked if they'd like a side of sour cream and pico with their burritos, and we were charged $2 each for sour cream sides and $4 each for pico sides. The margarita was just “okay”, the cheese dip was bland and the atmosphere is not great. Superica and Little Rey are a much better value, and if you just want great tacos, go to Taqueria del Sol.
A beautiful setting with a fun and vibrant ambiance. The service was very poor - the servers were nice but slow to serve and attend the table, potentially due to the holiday rush. The food was 3/5 - there are many better Mexican restaurants in the area. Being a new restaurant, I'd be willing to try it in a few months once they've worked out the kinks.
Went out for Christmas Eve fun but we were disappointed start to finish. Didn't get the table inside we reserved, took an age to get our order taken, they forgot about my drink and couldn't make any mocktail for my pregnant wife. Staff were unattentive and no continuity - others around us were experiencing the same. Couple next to us asked 3 different people to have the patio heater turned on and then gave up. Food was very average, check was wrong when it came, and just generally disappointing.
Hostess was noticeably irritated and short when asked at 8:25pm about our 8:15pm reservation. They had walk-ins waiting 2 hours. The restaurant needs to add a time limit to tables during peak time. When we finally got to our table, it was a two top crammed behind the door with backless bar stools for chairs - I had to sit my purse on the ground because it's so cramped. They were out of a lot of cocktail ingredients, the bar took a long time to make our drinks and at the end the server asked if we wanted dessert, we said yes then he told us the kitchen was closed. Ok? Lol. Overall, not worth the hype. May be better after the Christmas pop up is over but I will not return.
I would say this is a solid two stars. Beautiful inside and service was nice. However, the food was so subpar. I have to say I disliked most items and there was plenty that we left. Value wise was low as well. $5 for a tiny taco was hilarious. Also, drinks were okay. Christmas specials were lacking any flavor or real creativity. Here's a Santa mug... $16. Wouldn't go back.
