I really enjoyed the food here! I tried two different rolls and they were both incredibly fresh and had amazing flavors. I can’t wait to come back!

They take their craft very seriously here, it's very good quality food and drink. I go a couple times a month and have not been disappointed.

Really good food and a pretty good price too. Though, one time we ordered food, then after ordering, we had an emergency we had to leave for. So, I let the staff know that we wanted that food to-go. They brought us twice the amount of food of the same order. One for dine in, and one for to-go and we got charged for both. Might've just been a miscommunication, but still.

Very disappointed long time customer. Recently updated their sashimi prices but portion size remains the same. Nigiri and Sashimi used to be the same price. Nigiri’s prices were the ‘old’ price. For the same amount it’s now roughly a $4-$6 difference depending on the fish.

There’s been a lot of changes over the years and this one has us looking for new options. They used to give you warm/cold wet towels (depending on the season) to clean your hands. Free complementary edamame and your choice of desserts with a large meal. They also used to have reusable chopsticks instead of the disposable ones. They also used to play Ghibli-esque music that really set in the cozy Japanese vibes - it’s now weird pop music that doesn’t fit the restaurant. Missing Sushi Huku’s value 💔

Maybe this was just their lunch service but the sushi was not good. The eel was some of the worst I've ever had. The server seemed overwhelmed and was trying but I don't think they were ready for lunch service at all.

Unbeatable sushi—totally worth it!
I had the salmon sashimi, bluefin tuna, salmon sushi, and the salmon super crunch, and everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The quality blew me away—honestly better than any sushi I’ve had in Atlanta. What really impressed me is that the taste and quality far exceeded the price. It’s rare to find sushi this good at such a reasonable cost. The cozy sushi bar atmosphere and friendly service made the experience even better. Paired it all with a cold Asahi, and it was perfect. Can’t recommend this place enough!

I have been here multiple times over the years but I won't be back after my most recent experience.

I have some excellent sushi spots in Atlanta, but they are expensive and I wanted to go somewhere that had good sushi but would not cost an arm and a leg. Sushi Huku apparently is not that place. There were 5 of us and we each had an appetizer and sushi rolls. There were 2 glasses of wine. Our bill was over $400.

I would not be as turned off by the price if everyone enjoyed their meals but my wife never got one of her rolls and when she mentioned it to the waiter to told her it had come out already and did not offer to get her a roll. If it had come out, it looked nothing like what she thought she ordered. Also, the crab was not edible and went untouched.

The sushi itself was not bad at all. But it wasn't worth the money.

This place has been around a long time, in an area with not a lot of selection for sushi. It's old Atlanta and probably why it's lasted so long. Now, there are many better options.

Odd little restaurant in the middle of a grocery store parking lot. Don't let that fool you, they have excellent service and top quality ingredients. I've enjoyed every visit over a couple of decades. Wide variety of fish, and excellent presentation.

Classic Japanese restaurant. The fish quality is on par with the very expensive restaurants in town. This is just a no frills really solid sushi spot.

We typically order the fried octopus appetizer and 21 pieces of Sashimi. We get out the door for around $100.

I'd be willing to bet they have the same fish suppliers as Umai and Eight.

Service is generally quick and the service is good.
