This was absolutely our favorite Sushi restaurant in the area. Over the last few months they have been virtually impossible to order from via any online order channel or over the phone. It sounds like they are getting pushed out due to higher rents in Toco Hills, I hope they can find a new location nearby.

Worth trying! We ordered 2 rolls, Fantastic roll and Hawaiian roll. We really enjoyed both of them. We really liked the Fantastic roll but were happy we tried the Hawaiian roll since it was on the lighter side. The food was ready exactly when they said it would be. They’ve always been very nice and even gave us two complimentary miso soups. Everything was on par with other higher rated sushi restaurants. Honestly, I don’t know why their rating isn’t higher. We enjoyed the miso soup as well. ? Give it a try!!

Good food and good service! The combination of vegetables in the shrimp teriyaki was a little strange but I liked it overall! The restaurant was absolutely dead on a Monday night but that's not unusual.

Went to get an Easter pedicure with my fiancé at Lush Nail Bar in toco hills and decided to come in for a quick bite to eat. Had a little chat with the owner, apparently the pandemic had not been kind to them, however their dining room is completely open and ready for business!!! The service was impeccable and the food was even better!!!!! We will be back! I think I have found my “sushi spot” from now on!
I was on the go and had a craving for sushi on my route towards ATL and googled this spot. Cust svc great, but food was meh compared to my go to spot in Duluth. Portion size of roll was small and just didnt taste "wow" . I went during the week and it wasn't a popping atmosphere at all. Kinda sad and depressing but again svc was great.

Absolutely outstanding customer service. I walked into the place in a rush for lunch and stayed a while. The food was great and servers even better! I will be back.

After leaving two different restaurants in the area due to bad service, we finally landed at Matsuya! And I’m so glad we did! We were greeting immediately upon arriving and seated right away. There were a few other tables, but not too crowded. They seemed short staffed (just like everywhere else) but it didn’t effect our experience - constant refills and food was out quick! We ordered a few different sushi rolls and they were soooo yummy. It looks like this is a small family owned business that I’m happy to support! We will be back.
Best green tea. They actually use matcha powder which gives a better flavor than any other restaurant you’ll go to.First time here visiting from the south of Georgia. We’ll come back when we are in town again.
Food was delicious. I had the salmon lovers roll. A lot of the rooms there have at least one fried own so if you are looking for something more traditional, you have fewer choices. Service was above average.
Parking: Parking is in a large lot but you can't park right on front of the restaurant. You will have to walk a little ways.
