A cozy, warm neighborhood coffee spot in Kirkwood! I had their matcha latte which was excellent -- not too sweet, and the matcha quality was amazing. They had a bunch of creative seasonal drinks that I want to try as well. Staff are super friendly, and there are plenty of tables to get some work done.

I stopped in about 20 minutes before closing and was greeted with such a warm smile. I asked the barista for something calming since I teach yoga down the street, and she recommended the blueberry tea with oat milk. My goodness… it was phenomenal. Truly one of the best teas I’ve had in a long time.
This is a wonderful coffee shop with amazing baristas. I wish I had gotten her name. Thank you for such a lovely experience!

Great atmosphere and amazing service! Unfortunately the chai is overly ginger-y and has a sour taste to it. Got a seasonal latte as well, which was nice! But really had to be shaken around for flavor to come out.

I went to Taproom for the first time this week. It was interesting to see the owner walking around picking up plates/cups, talking to customers, etc. You can tell the business is her pride and joy. Really nice to see how much she cares about her business. The latte was good, but the Gruyère twist was excellent! The atmosphere is really mellow, especially after the breakfast rush. The seating is very comfortable.

Taproom Coffee has completely revamped, and it’s better than ever! The coffee was fantastic — perfectly crafted and smooth. We tried the basil, pesto, and sun-dried tomato toast, and it was absolutely fabulous — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The staff couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly. There’s tons of seating, including a cozy lounge area with a couch and plenty of tables if you want to work or catch up with friends. The building itself has such great character, and there’s plenty of parking nearby, which makes it super convenient.
The owner, Ashley, is the heart of this place. If she’s there, you’ll definitely know — she’s incredibly personable and makes everyone feel welcome. You can tell she genuinely cares about her customers and her coffee shop.
Highly recommend stopping by Taproom Coffee — whether you’re looking for a great cup of coffee, a chill workspace, or just a warm neighborhood vibe. This place truly has it all!

Atmosphere: The shop was nice and open, but I went right before the remodel, so the walls were bare. Can't wait to see how they decorate.
Drinks: I got the s'mores latte, which was very good. I thought it would be a little sweeter, so I had to add sugar, but I have a very sweet tooth, so it's probably fine for most people. I also got a chai latte with vanilla, and that was great. No added sugar needed :)
Food: I got the Gruyere twist, which was delicious. It made for a perfect little breakfast.

Great place for espresso. Lovely inside and out. Very nice pull, but thought the taste was a bit bland. Think they rotate beans, so maybe another day would have more interesting flavor.

Tasty coffee and great, dog friendly outdoor seating!
What a lovely neighborhood staple! Good vibes all around - great place to do work, have a meeting, or just socialize over a coffee. Employees are always so sweet, the coffee is on point, I love how they serve their hot tea, and I always get a quiche! We also host our Kirkwood Business Association Meetings here (first Tuesday of the month at 9:30-10:30am - come join!) and they are incredibly accommodating. Just love this place!

i came into this place because of all of the good reviews but was disappointed after receiving my drink. i ordered a dirty chai & it unfortunately ended up just tasting like hot water with cinnamon. my partner ordered a matcha & said it tasted just like milk. i probably won’t be back but service & overall vibe was nice.
