i came into this place because of all of the good reviews but was disappointed after receiving my drink. i ordered a dirty chai & it unfortunately ended up just tasting like hot water with cinnamon. my partner ordered a matcha & said it tasted just like milk. i probably won’t be back but service & overall vibe was nice.

This coffee shop has been a neighborhood staple for years now. It just keeps getting better. The coffee is fantastic, and their caramel latte, not too sweet, is my go to all year long. Don’t sleep on the specials though, as they always have something good to try seasonally. The baked goods are wonderful, locally sourced in the neighborhood (like Julie’s Pies’ quiche!). As of late, they started selling toasts - including an avocado toast which is anything but basic. There’s parking (free which is seldom a thing these days) too. But maybe equally as important is the staff. They remember their customers and are attentive and friendly. It’s clear they genuinely enjoy being there. I can’t imagine how hard it is to compete with the big names but for me there is no question- best coffee shop around!

Beware! I was here two days ago with some girlfriends. I got a caramel iced latte, a friend got a plain iced coffee, another got tea. It tasted delish and everything seemed fine. I live walking distance, I’m almost home and BAM, it hits me. My heart starts beating fast and my hands are shaking. I feel a headache coming on and I feel queasy.
I text my friends and ask if they’re ok, one tells me she’s okay but her boyfriend got an iced coffee last week and the same thing happened to him.
I drank A LOT of water and sat on the couch trying to stay calm. My hands wouldn’t stop trembling. I took a nap and that helped.
Is it delish, yes. Will it possibly make you queasy and jittery? Also yes. Maybe just don’t get the coffee. I’ve never had this reaction from a cafe, idk what happened.

My family is here several times a week. The owner and employees are always so sweet. The coffee is great and they move quickly so I never wait. Their seasonal drinks are fun and break me out of my usual cappuccino order!

The drinks are very good! My sister and I like it here and we are both picky coffee drinkers. The outdoor seating area is also nice and relaxing.

My Saturday routine includes a stop at Taproom for their nitro iced coffee. I really really enjoy it. The service is always fast, coffee has a nice smooth taste. Parking can be tricky if you get here during peak hours but you will find a spot. There’s a public lot next to it which gets pretty packed around 10am but you should still be able to find street parking. I always get the coffee, they have pastries which I’ve gotten in the past. They’ve been pretty good but I come here for the coffee!! Employees are super nice and friendly, lots of people come through with their kids!

Went here twice in one weekend! The best vanilla latte, matcha latte, and that gluten free oatmeal cream pie was incredible!

Had a super tasty Americano that was STRONG. Like super strong. I'm not complaining though. That's just how I like it!
