Tried Taqueria La Luz for the first time this past Friday with some friends after visiting Dr. Scofflaw. We arrived at the food hall rather late, close to closing time. So most places were closed already but taqueria la luz was still open, so we decided to try it out. I got an al pastor taco and my fiancé got the chicken quesadilla, which we shared. Honestly, I am so happy we got both these things. The food was excellent. The Al Pastor taco might've been the best pastor taco I have had in Georgia, and I have tried a lot of al pastor tacos. It was super flavorful, and they even had a mini bar where you could add more cilantro, onions, and a few sauces they had to offer. The quesadilla was also very good too. It was cheesy and had the right amount of chicken as well. We didn't wait too long for our food, but this is because the food was made fresh and wasn't just heated up. Definitely worth the wait. Pricing wasn't too bad. It was pretty standard for food in a food hall. Will definitely give this place another visit in the future.

Great place to eat in the works!! The marg slush was very good, alongside the corn tortilla taco, and corn that I got!! Every time I’m in the area, I always swing by to get some. Staff is so friendly! Love this place and would definitely recommend trying it out!! :)

The target audience of this place isn’t real Mexicans like me but the food is authentic and tastes great…If you’re a real Latin person their “spicy” salsa will taste very mild like it did for me.I had the traditional tacos and a huarache. In my photos I put a lot of salsa because that’s how I like it but it doesn’t come like that. Don’t be afraid to try it.There’s a little sign tell you that’s their kitchen is fast and it’s true. I think I had my food under 5 mins. (It was around 11:30 on a Saturday though…)

Waited in line for 15 minutes without being greeted. There were others behind us in line as well. The 2 people behind the area walked by several times without greeting us. Everyone ended up just getting out of line.

I tried the Gordita with beyond meat with fish taco and they were pretty good. I was STARVING and inhaled my food, which may have contributed to the aftermath. Good: the Gordita gave me hard fried arepa vibes but was delicious. I expected it to look different (idk why) but it's like two hard friend arepas with a bunch of stuff in between. It definitely hit the spot and I ate 2 in one sitting. The fish taco was also good and for both, I added a bunch of onions, cilantro and salsas. Aftermath: shortly after inhaling 2 gorditas and 1 taco, my stomach was bubbling. Idk if it was the speed at which I ate or the quality of food but it happened without remorse. Overall, the food was good and I'd try it again.

Professional employee! Wish they have a bigger menu board (currently just a letter sized paper menu on display by the register). Reasonable amount of food items options. We tried a bowl and a burrito, both surprisingly exceed our expectation in terms of the taste!! Will recommend Taqueria La Luz! Good food!!

Awesome food, flavor and service. Their food is flavorful and the margaritas are strong! I tried the nachos with chicken and every bite was full of flavor. Their verde sauce is so good I could drink it. lol the folks working there seem very happy and service is quick, too.

La Luz is located within Chattahoochee Works. They had a special due to ATL Taco Week October 2nd to the 8th. The special was 2 birria tacos and esquire. Esquite came in a cup and contained corn, lime, crema, and cotija cheese. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable. They explained all the menu items. They offer chicken and beef birria tacos. You can't change the special. They have a toppings bar. They had diced onions, cilantro, lime, salsa, salsa Verde, and the cute little plastic 1oz containers with lids to put your toppings in. I'm a big fav Verde Salsa along with lime, onions, and cilantro on my tacos. The tacos also came with the dipping sauce. The tacos had a decent amount of filling. The sauce was very thin and kind of bland. The salsa Verde had more flavor to me. I put that on both my tacos. The esquite was different to me. I had never tried it before. I would like it more with less cheese in it. Reminded me of a creamed corn but not as sweet and more liquid. The tacos were okay. Not bad. I would try other items on the menu. The service was great. The pricing was decent.

I ordered the traditional taco (fish). They gave me a flour tortilla instead of a corn. They rectified it. I wish I knew the fish was going to be fried. But it was very bland. The taco had no flavor/seasoning and was oily. After one bite, I didn’t even finish it.
