The air vents were not working and it would've been nice to know before hand. Food was great as always.
We enjoyed a late lunch at the restaurant which was very casual and laidback so that we were able to enjoy our lunch together as well as the food and drinks.
I’ve been here twice. Some items in there menu are “amazing” where as others are just “okay”. Overall this place passes the vibe check. Love the feel of this place. The cocktails are always on point.

Restaurant Week menu gave a lot of options and they were all good! We were a party of 6, trying all the dishes, each meal was not only tasty but also filling. We especially liked the unique selection of appetizers. The waitress even had a non-alcoholic spritz created since it was lunch time...it was really good and garnished with a lovely flower. Some of us have eaten here before and now all of us have agreed to continue to enjoy everything about Taverna in the future.
The AC was working well during our experience which affects the rating. Typically, a good experience at taverna!
This waa my first time there and it was whatI imagined. The food was delicious, ambience, server Liz was amazing. I will definitely return.
My sister and I sat at the bar during what was supposed to be a birthday happy hour. I witnessed our bartender being notified by the host, and the birthday being acknowledged. When ordering the first of many things, I asked the bartender how big with the happy hour serving of the flatbread. She stated that it was only big enough for one person and not suitable for sharing. Due to that, my sister and I ordered one without sausage and one with sausage. The flatbread was more than enough for two people, and my sister's came without meat, two errors that were totally avoidable. We ordered more food.- 3 entrees. Crème brûlée was ordered as the birthday dessert. The group next to us at the bar was also celebrating a birthday. My dessert came out and the next group's dessert - chocolate cake- came out with a huge flaming sparkler. When I asked our bartender what happened, she gave a paltry apology and said that she couldn't add a sparkler to the crème brûlée. The sparkler that came with the chocolate cake wasn't inserted in the cake; it was placed on another plate, adjacent to the cake. I don't know why that couldn't have been done for me, too. We were charged for the birthday dessert and didn't receive the same experience as the group at the same bar. Our bill was larger as the other group only ordered from the happy hour menu, and we tipped accordingly. The food was fantastic, but the service was sub par.
Last night, I visited Taverna in Buckhead for the first time with a friend and a couple of our fur babies. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived, but we still decided to stay and I’m so glad we did!
We were warmly greeted and seated by Catarina, who also ended up being our server for the evening. Even though it was a slow night and she may have been hoping for an early wrap-up, you would’ve never known it. Catarina provided outstanding service from start to finish.
Her demeanor was warm and welcoming, her communication was clear and friendly, and she had the perfect mix of charm and professionalism. She checked on us regularly, kept the good vibes going, and even made sure our pups were taken care of with fresh water.
I left extremely pleased and will definitely be back — and when I return, I’ll be asking for Catarina by name!

Great evening on the patio. Our server was amazing!! She didn't rush us to choose mains right after appetizers. She allowed us to relax, enjoy and savour the incredible food without rushing as to what we want next and if we want the cheque.
Noise was intense inside. Service forgot to serve me my soup. The marinara sauce is way to thick and the eggplant dish was so tough a knife was needed to cut it
What I like most about Taverna-Buckhead is the ambiance. It's cozy, vibrant and stylish. The service has always been great. There is a good selection of food. I highly recommend this restaurant for casual-chick dining.
Love this place! Definitely going back. The bartender was amazing and had great customer service. Only thing I don't remember if she told me her name or not. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. This means a lot to me because I dine alone often. I got the chicken and waffles and it was not good. The bartender was so nice and tried to take it back and make it right but I felt weird since I did eat some of it. When I go back I would definitely just try something else. Other than that I had an amazing time.
The food was very bland and subpar in taste. I have had it in the past. The server misunderstood several requests as well. I like that. It was not crowded on this Friday night, but I don't know the reason why is because the food quality has changed. Truly disappointing.
