Oh my GOODNESS! The Ted's Montana Grill Cumberland location is truly AWESOME! If you hadn't gone by and tried their delicious food, you definitely should. I didn't realize they were located in the mall - my husband and I came after church and wanted to just try a different place. We were amazed by the serene atmosphere, excellent customer service and delicious food - truly worth the visit. You will NOT be disappointed.

Great service, delicious food, cooked exactly how it was ordered. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and helpful with the menu, even though he had a large party he was serving also, we felt like his number one customer. The wait was very short for a Friday evening also.

I had the most delicious filet here! I can't even begin to describe how juicy and tender it was. I love that they have the option to choose between beef and bison. I'm not a bison person but my dinner mates were so I loved being able to enjoy my meal with them! I highly recommend the filet! Also! I would be remiss if I didn't give a shout out to our server: Montana! He was the best and I'm not just saying that because he is a fellow Hoosier! He was attentive, courteous and super nice!! I recommend asking to be sat in his area! Over a 10/10 experience! Loved it here and wish we had one in Miami!

What a pleasant surprise. I was here on a business trip and had to pick up an item at the mall that I forgot to pack. Saw this place and decided to have dinner. It's owned by CNN's Ted Turner. Bison comes from his ranches. It's 2 minutes from the Braves stadium. Everything here is fresh. I had the Bison filet and Kale salad. Best filet I've ever had bison or beef. Homemade pickles served complimentary made me think of my childhood and my Mom making them. Staff here is excellent. Shout out to Wilbur, Aloys, Dixie. Crazy names but excellent service with a smile. They all made me feel like I was a regular and a friend. Plus and most importantly they are all proud of this restaurant. Actually everyone here had a smile and friendly. The ambiance is very steakhouse with dark wood and big booths. Wine selection is not bad considering they are this far from California . ( joking) If you are in Atlanta try one of their restaurants. If they are anything like this one you'll love it. I would be a regular if they came to Sacramento, CALIFORNIA

I don't know where to begin. My recommendation is to STAY AWAY and save your money! We had reservations for 7:30. We arrived and the area around the Hostess Stand was a nightmare! The hostess was clueless and missing most of the time. She had no idea how to handle a crowd and it's a shame that management didn't come to her rescue. She was seating people that had reservations after us first. And she seated people without reservations before us. Finally we got seated then things started going downhill further. It took at least 10 minutes before our waitress even acknowledged us. Finally when she did notice us we got to place our drink order. She wanted to go ahead and take our food order, but I wanted to relax and have a drink first. ..... Well we finally got our first drink about 30 minutes later. And of course my drink was wrong. I drank it anyway because I didn't want to wait for another one. However, I went ahead and placed my second drink order because I knew it would take forever. The second drink came out fine and we placed our food order. The food came out in stages. Mine was first, then my husband's came out a few minutes later. My steak was not cooked properly. I wanted it cooked Medium and it came out Rare. The waitress handed me an appetizer plate for me to drag the steak on to give to her. I wish she had just taken my entire plate. About 10 minutes later, my used steak came back out and was still under cooked. I just ate it anyway because I was hungry and didn't want to send it back again. The broccoli was awful. If you like huge tough stalks with a little Parmesan cheese sprinkled on it, you might like it. My granddaughter's Mac and Cheese was awful! It was floating in water. Basically it was watery buttered noodles with a little cheese sprinkled on it. We also sent that back and my granddaughter ordered a Caesar Salad. When it came out, the dressing tasted sour. We asked to speak the manager at this point. It was ridiculous. My husband had the Bison Filet, Loaded Baked Potato and the Brussels sprouts. His steak was delicious. Wish I had his plate! The Brussel Sprouts were a little undercooked though. The waitress then came over to bring us the check. No.... we were not offered any dessert or anything else. We told her we weren't leaving until the manager came over. ... geez! What's wrong with these people? Finally the manager came out about 10-15 minutes later. He was busy working in the kitchen because they were short handed. If they were this understaffed maybe they should have turned away some people at the door. The Manager also let us know that this was the Hostess's 2nd day on the job. No wonder she was clueless. The manager did comp my steak and my granddaughter's Mac and Cheese. So for that reason and the fact that my husband's steak was good, I'll give them 2 stars. We definitely will not be back.

Leigh B is the best waitress EVER. She made great food recommendations and Will made the best drink ever. They explained the meat options and let's just say their guidance and recommendations was on point. The bison was very tender on the salad that I ate. Flavorful and tender...omg yum. Next time I will try the bison as a steak meal vs on a salad. Trying to get my weight under control and that was the best option. But I will be back. And dessert - apple crisp Lordt it was so yum and yummy. I will be back for everything.

One word describes the experience - horrible. If I could rate with zero stars, I would. Terrible service starting at the the top with the restaurant manager. We were a party of 6 and 4 ordered steaks - only to be told the kitchen 'ran out' of NY strip - on a Saturday - all 4 had to substitute. When expressing our frustration at this issue, along with multiple other issues, the manager made zero attempt to acknowledge our frustration and "right the wrong". The service was painfully slow. We had to ask twice for napkins, utensils and plates for the appetizers. I could go on and on but I won't. Needless to say none of us will ever make a return visit and we will NOT recommend this restaurant to anybody. Corporate should be embarrassed at our dining experience.

When the food arrived my steak was really undercooked. They took it back with no problem and prepared it to my liking. The manager was great he brought my food back to me and made sure to check on us throughout the meal. Our server (Breanna) was very friendly and helpful. We were seated next to the kitchen (which we enjoyed), we could see all of the orders being prepared and sent out to the patrons. The kitchen staff was lively. All in all I would recommend Ted's. I only gave 3 stars because I expected the food to be better. Don't get me wrong it was good, I may have just had an unreasonable expectation.

Wow!! The food was amazing, I had the beef Ted's Fillet & I could cut it with a fork (and I have mine cooked welll done) it was by far the most flavorful & tender piece of steak I've put in my mouth. A very pleasant environment & great servers. All around EXCELLENT!!

The food was ok, the service was awkward, I'm not sure if I would recommend the place. A large group of us went on a Saturday night due to the fact that every other restaurant over there was packed and couldn't take a large party and Ted's said they had room. When we walked in the place was pretty empty which should've been a sign for us to turn around, but it was pouring rain and after 9pm so we just settled. It wasn't that the service and food was that bad, but for the price we could've had a better experience elsewhere.
