Visited Tesserae recently and the experience was mixed.
The atmosphere and views are nice, but the service was slower than expected. We waited about 45 minutes before being served, which took away from the overall experience.
The food was decent—about a 3-star rating in my opinion. It’s moderately priced for Buckhead, but nothing particularly memorable.
The biggest issue was valet. We requested our car at 11:20 PM and didn’t receive it until 12:35 AM, even though the system said it would be ready in about 10 minutes. Thankfully they refunded the valet fee, but I would strongly recommend reconsidering valet if you visit.
Nice location and vibe, but service improvements would make a big difference.

Unfortunately, the service tonight was absolutely dismal. While the food was good and the ambience was also nice, the total lack of service throughout the entire evening was very disappointing. It took over one hour for the food to arrive, and the wine order I placed to be paired with the food came once I was finished. The music was great but way too loud to have a conversation. I don’t think I would recommend this place which is a shame as the location is stunning.

This is another beautiful gem in the heart of Buckhead. Went to the rooftop I met the most wonderful staff. Kia is the restaurant manager and she was super nice. Had such a wonderful time chopping it up with her. The view from the rooftop was absolutely stunning. The hotel itself is gorgeous 🤩. They have live music on Wednesday evenings I believe at 7:30 p.m. and a DJ on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30. Check it out! And tell Kia I sent you on the rooftop.

I went here for Valentine’s Day for their special 3-course prix fixe dinner (appetizer, entrée, and dessert), and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing.
It took about 30 minutes just to get into the restaurant due to valet, which caused us to arrive late for our reservation. We tried calling twice to let them know, but no one answered the phone. Once we finally got inside, we waited another 20 minutes in the lobby to be seated, and we were placed right by the door where people were constantly walking in and out to the balcony, which was very disruptive.
The service was extremely slow. We waited almost 2 hours to receive our entrée, which completely ruined the timing of the evening. Because of the long wait, they ran out of the crème brûlée that was part of the 3-course menu and brought out a random substitute dessert that was honestly not good. The waiter also felt very dismissive and rushed, which made the experience even less enjoyable.
The view was beautiful and the entree was delicious once it arrived, but that was the only highlight. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant for special occasions like Valentine’s Day.

Not feeling well so went to order dinner to go. Very nice host told me to order at the bar, but bartender wasn’t very welcoming. Seemed bothered that I was ordering take out… $34 for the Pan Roasted King Salmon with lemon caper beurre blanc…received a piece of overcooked greasy salmon in a box with no lemon caper sauce and a small container of potato puree with no flavor…not even in a container that I could eat from and no salt or pepper to help give it some flavor. Even though I did not eat in the restaurant, I still paid the same amount and should receive the same quality. Unfortunately here a lot for work, but will not go back to this restaurant☹️

Nope. had a reservation 245 was not seated until 306, then waited an additional eight minutes before our order was taking young lady work in the bar and the sitting area seems like they were under staff mind you this is Valentine’s Day, it wasn’t a good experience for me, but I appreciate the effort for my husband putting into booking it, the pictures was good. we had a good photo for the Valentine’s Day prop. Never again on another note my husband said his Smashburger was good

Took 30 minutes just to be seated even having a reservation. Took an hour to receive drinks. Didn't even get to order for because of how long it took. I would not recommend anyone to go. If you want slow service, mid food and a view, by all means you can go, but it's not an ideal place to go to
We made reservations here for Valentine's Day. I paid $75 per each person only to show up on time and be told we had to wait an hour to be seated. After waiting an hour and never receiving the text for our table we peeked back in only to see there were plenty of open tables from people who had decided not to come back due to the wait. After being seated we had to wait 30 minutes for a waiter. Upon placing the orders on the fixed menus, majority of the food was no longer being served and the live music began to pack their things. Needless to say my Valentine's Day was spoiled. My woman was upset. It was a poor experience.

If you reserved to eat here for Valentine's Day — I'm sure we all had similar experiences of wait time, terrible service and mid food. My girlfriend and I arrived 10 mins early and checked in just to be seated a little after 9:30 — our reservation was at 8:30. We noticed a lot of people complaining as they were leaving out and took note to order EVERYTHING once we get seated and we did. Not only did we ONLY got our entree , we never received the starter until we complained and I ordered a Lemonade which took 20+ mins just to come out and asking 5x which led to requesting to speak the manager. I overall had high hopes to enjoy this reservation but I think they were short staff and overestimated the volume. I would not stray away from coming as I'm sure any other day is great but for a day such as valentines, don't bother. Parking was not really “waived” but only $18. After a certain time, the bottom parking door will lock and you'll have to go in the top/front entrance.

We went to Tesserae in Valentine's Day, they must have not anticipated a high volume. First of all I must say they have a dedicated elevator that only goes up to the restaurant which was cool. The atmosphere is top notch. Views were nice. It's really nice inside. The food was good. This could be a great place. So Valet only had 1 guys working. The line was so backed up I ended up pulling out and parking in the garage because the line was not moving. I felt sorry for the kid working valet. Our drinks took 20 mins, my second round took 15 minutes. It took an hour and 15 minutes to get our food. I could see 9 other tables around us and only one table had food on it. And the menu only had 2 appetizers, 3 Entrees and 2 desserts to choose from. Not sure I'll go back. It was disappointing because it is really a nice restaurant.
