Wow, really shocking how bad the service is. One of us cannot eat GlutenâŠâthe only thing you can eat is saladâ the three other entrees were all gluten free. Hanger steak order medium rare came RAW, COLD! The servers have never worked at a restaurant of this âcaliberâ and served at a small square table over peopleâs heads. $200 dinner with one glass of wine and really disappointed. The hotel should not be recommending guests eat here. Loud music at dinner. Like really loud. I love music but it was dance club loud.

The ambiance and drinks at Tesseraeâs are nice, but thatâs honestly where the positives end. For a dinner that cost over $4,000, the overall experience was extremely disappointing.
While we were informed the meal would be family-style, the portions were shockingly small and the food wasnât even served hot. For that kind of money, youâd expect quality and quantityâwhat we got felt more like a sampling than a meal. The crab cakes were literally the size of a quarter, and the meats were dry and unimpressive.
On top of that, there was no transparency about how âno showsâ would be handled. Whether it was a certain fee, total or a certain percent, which added unnecessary frustration.
Tesseraeâs might be fine if youâre only going for drinks and the view, but when it comes to the food, it completely misses the mark. For the price and the hype, itâs simply not worth it. We wonât be returning.â

The food was not good! The service and ambience were great. I did enjoy the lemonade. My steak, broccolini, and mashed potatoes were disappointing. I parked for free on the street. I also had a reservation.
I went to tesserae a few nights ago, the restaurant and view are beautiful. The DJ is pretty good as well. The food was okay, nothing breathtaking. The service was absolutely terrible, for a âhigher endâ restaurant I would expect much more. Our server 1. Did not introduce himself, 2. Had little to no menu knowledge, 3. Didnât do a two-bite check (I donât think he came back until after our food was done), 4. Our drinks took ages to come and the bar was not swamped. Honestly, the list goes on. Overall a staff revamp is needed. Gratuity is included which is perfectly fine because back of the house staff needs to get paid and the servers shortcomings is not their fault. We usually leave on top for the server but this experience was the worst service I think Iâve ever had.

I had the most amazing experience at Tessaraeâs Rooftop Jazz Night! The views of the city were stunning, the atmosphere felt so chic yet welcoming, and the live jazz created the perfect vibe for the evening.
The cocktails and food were outstanding, but what really stood out was the service. Everyone was so attentive without ever being overbearing. A huge thank you to Manager Kiara Walkerâshe went above and beyond to make sure our table felt completely taken care of. Her warmth and professionalism truly elevated the night and made us feel like VIPs.
This is one of those experiences you donât forget. I canât wait to come back and make Rooftop Jazz Nights a regular tradition!
