Thai Kitchen by YAO

I made a reservation for outdoor seating and they don't even have a patio. The food and cocktails were good but overpriced. Service was good

TLDR: The food portions are tiny and expensive. The appetizers are scams (especially the roti, it's only 1 tiny roti cut into 4). The pad Thai is probably the only entree really worth eating. Don't get the fried rice

Ambiance and setting were great for a nice early dinner. Could see the decor in IG photos. Food was a bit expensive for an early dinner.

Girls Night Out! I loved the ambiance, the service, the food, the drinks. Miguel was AMAZING! We ordered the lettuce wraps & crab wontons=So Good! I ordered the crab fried rice=Yummers! My friend ordered the pineapple fried w/ shrimp. We enjoyed ourselves! New Girls Date Spot!

We had a wonderful experience the food was excellent and our waiter was amazing explaining the menu and food combinations. They are on a street with live music and the patio is great.

Food that I chose was satisfactory. I would go back for the excellent service, cocktails and atmosphere. I would also have the owners/management request the building do a better job of signage -

Amazing service and fabulous food!!! Live this place and highly recommend the panang salmon. Our server (forget his name) was truly the BEST! He sent over birthday shots (we were celebrating a birthday) and a candle with ice cream for the birthday girl. Great night!!

Good food. Good service. Eric was our waiter and he was friendly and explained the menu thoroughly to us.

Firstly, i believe the fancy restaurant does not need DJ for noisy music in small space. instead of we will more love when we have the jazz or chill music. Pad Thai is good taste. And that good to try but this is the traditional food from Thai Lan. Overall, with us, we have not feeling too much well in this restaurant.

We have eaten here previously and enjoyed it but unfortunately our food this time wasn't great. Hope it was just a one off night.

We are here for a friend’s birthday and had a great time! Miguel was our server and he was knowledgeable, friendly, and ensured everyone’s needs were met. Tasty dishes and cute decor for photos too!

I was incredibly disappointed with the service and food yesterday when I dined there. The server seemed annoyed and short. My food was cold and in addition I got charged for still water when I indicated that I don't normally drink water at restaurants. This felt like a very deceptive thing to do. I have been coming to Yao for a while and it seems to be declining in quality. I was even featured in an instagram story posted by Yao as I come there regularly. I was also so embarrassed because I have been bringing friends there like I did last night and it was not a good experience. At this point I don't have any plans to return.

Awful never going back. Worse restaurant that I have ever been to and there was nobody there and still received terrible service. Food is worse than panda express. Mgmt is awful. Never left a critical review but this place is unbearable and awful. It's hard to describe how terrible it is until you experience the terrible service and food. I believe the service name was Jeremy but you will know he's awful. It doesn't matter though because the entire experience is terrible.
