You walk in expecting tavern grub and walk out pleasantly surprised!
I came here just to get a burger. The Albert burger was delicious. The patties were thinner than expected, so it’s more smash burger style in that sense.
It’s priced for thinner patties though.
Most surprisingly, the kale salad was really good! It’s curious to find one on a bar menu. It did not disappoint.

The burger was delicious. I got the Mac Burger that had Mac and cheese in it and bacon. The Mac had a delicious mustardy tang. The soup was even more tasty! The vegetable steak soup is with the visit.

This place is beautiful and worth stopping by! Reshma was a really kind waitress- glad to have her patiently introduce us to the place and how to order. We had the Beef and Raclette Pie with mash and cabbage. Delicious!! I also of course had to have a glass of beer. I love the historical slant to it and you can tell that it is a beloved spot by its lively patronage! On the whole, recommended!
The Albert is a very friendly, local place with great food and wonderful servers. We met friends there and had a great time. It's a clean dive-bar type place with delicious, upscale, yet affordable food. Love it!
