My fiancé and I are regulars at McCray’s formerly the Baxter. The food is very good. The salmon and Buffalo sandwich are our go tos. Atmosphere is great there are tons of TVs to watch any game you can imagine. We love the servers Kenny and Mary and they always take great care of us! However, we don’t like the new outdoor seating QR code ordering. The food comes out slow/wrong this way. And also we enjoy the live music they often have but it’s usually WAY too loud like can’t even hear someone sitting next to you.

This experience was ....so weird. The hostess didn't say anything to us, just sat us in the darkest, most isolated corner when we were there for football (so we just moved ourselves to the bar)...just so, so weird. We sat at the bar for at least 10 minutes. No one looked at us, and they served people to the left and right eventually. The man in glasses was, to be fair, overwhelmed, but the girl was just ..... pacing? We asked if we could order from her, she said yes, then...drifted away. Trying to look busy? Idk. TVs were on different timers so no one could keep up with anything. The bar back finally took pity on us and asked if we wanted anything (he deserves a raise). Also their special is an 8.9% for $3? So it just doesn't feel like anyone is in charge.

Fries were good. The rest was left to be desired. Music was soooooooo loud on the small patio outside we were screaming at each other. Eventually we got tired of the loudddd trap music that we moved inside and the staff wasn’t very friendly at all. I really hate giving a review under 4 stars but this place wasn’t impressive at all. They were also out of the first 4 beers we asked for (off their menu) and out of the first cocktail we asked for. Whattttt. idk give it a try but we (the 6 of us) were superrrr bummed by it

Great location off the beltline to watch the game. Great space and great food. Bartenders were awesome, Kenny and Slim kept me laughing but still were very attentive.

Beware of this place if you care about having a nice place to watch the game. They are walk up service only so you have to go get your drinks every time and I was told I had to get my own food too. Food is mid anyway so it's fine. I called ahead to make sure they would have the UGA game on and was told "every TV will be on UGA with sound. We are a Georgia bar." When I got there with my party only a few TVs were showing our game and we couldn't get a good view of the game. I asked the bartenders 3 times to change TVs that were in view of us to the UGA game but they did not change them. We dealt with this and just watched the game with a glare no problem. Eventually a different bartender changed the TV away from our game. Of course we asked them to change it back since we had been watching the game for 3 quarters already. We were told they wouldn't put the game back on because a table that had just arrived wanted to watch something different. Shame because this place is in walking distance and I hoped this would be my new game day spot but I'll take my business to a place with good food, table service, and workers to are honest about what you can expect from your experience at the establishment.

Great vibe, but the food was very mid. Live music was enjoyable but I don’t think I’ll ever eat a meal here again. If I’m back, maybe just some beer.

Nice atmosphere. Food was good and service was quick and friendly. They have an outside patio or you can dine in. We got the crab dip and smashburger which were both delicious.

Great service, the staff is always friendly and consistent. So is the food. The turkey club is one of the best in the city! Easily the friendliest and tastiest spot on the belt line!!

Do not know why it is so great.
Served us a leftover beer from servers station. We saw it sit during our meal.
Do not show you the check when you pay.....we asked and found errors.
Food is okay.... you can do better

Let me start with this being my second time here. The first time they gave my friend the wrong wings and they DID take them off, we had the bartender with the cool glasses and he was amazing. Very understanding, helpful, and attentive.
I'm leaving this review specifically bc of the second time I came with a group of four. Our server, a redheaded young woman, who never mentioned her name, was kind, but not attentive. We ordered 2 chopped salads (1 with chicken) and a panini with drinks. Food took a while to come out. The food was alright, prices a little steep for basic bar food. We're pretty flexible and understanding with servers as I also work in the food industry. I've never left a bad review before, but I felt this experience made for the exception. Our issues arose when my boyfriend's salad was came out as a Caesar salad, instead of chopped, and it was missing his chicken. They said the chicken was on its way, but it never arrived. Our server didn't come back to see if our food came out correctly. When she did finally return, we told her about the incorrect salad and missing protein. She glanced at the salad, noticed the chicken wasn't there and noticed it wasn't a chopped and kind of just made a face of disappointment. We asked for the check and also asked if she fixed the price (considering we got a different salad with protein on it) she confirmed that she had fixed the bill and brought the ipad with her then she held it close to her body and wouldn't show us how much it was or give us a receipt, just looked at us and awkwardly said "So, who's paying?" We gave her a gift card that had $50 on it, which she was confused about then walked away to enter, then returned with our remaining bill which was $46.29, to which she had my boyfriend follow her to pay. She did finally give him a receipt, once he paid, to which we discovered she charged us for the incorrect salad and chicken (which was more expensive than the salad received). When my boyfriend asked her about this, she lied and told us it was taken off, despite the fact that it was on the receipt with all the prices and total. Needless to say, not a great experience. I hope they put a little more care, effort, and honesty to a customers experience. We are all just trying to enjoy food and have a great time.
Also, I did have $16 cash out to tip her with but after discovering deceitful charges we decided not tip and I always tip bc again, I too am in the service industry and know what it's like but this was unacceptable.
