This place is right along the belt line in midtown. Very cool tiki-style atmosphere but the drink prices are a little pricey. Pre-mixed cocktails were good but if you ask for an extra shot then you're going to pay double. Not worth it my opinion.

Megan was such a great bartender! She greeted us with a huge smile and was so accommodating. She seems like she enjoys her job and that makes my heart happy!

My fiancé and I are regulars at McCray’s formerly the Baxter. The food is very good. The salmon and Buffalo sandwich are our go tos. Atmosphere is great there are tons of TVs to watch any game you can imagine. We love the servers Kenny and Mary and they always take great care of us! However, we don’t like the new outdoor seating QR code ordering. The food comes out slow/wrong this way. And also we enjoy the live music they often have but it’s usually WAY too loud like can’t even hear someone sitting next to you.

This experience was ....so weird. The hostess didn't say anything to us, just sat us in the darkest, most isolated corner when we were there for football (so we just moved ourselves to the bar)...just so, so weird. We sat at the bar for at least 10 minutes. No one looked at us, and they served people to the left and right eventually. The man in glasses was, to be fair, overwhelmed, but the girl was just ..... pacing? We asked if we could order from her, she said yes, then...drifted away. Trying to look busy? Idk. TVs were on different timers so no one could keep up with anything. The bar back finally took pity on us and asked if we wanted anything (he deserves a raise). Also their special is an 8.9% for $3? So it just doesn't feel like anyone is in charge.

Fries were good. The rest was left to be desired. Music was soooooooo loud on the small patio outside we were screaming at each other. Eventually we got tired of the loudddd trap music that we moved inside and the staff wasn’t very friendly at all. I really hate giving a review under 4 stars but this place wasn’t impressive at all. They were also out of the first 4 beers we asked for (off their menu) and out of the first cocktail we asked for. Whattttt. idk give it a try but we (the 6 of us) were superrrr bummed by it

Great location off the beltline to watch the game. Great space and great food. Bartenders were awesome, Kenny and Slim kept me laughing but still were very attentive.

Beware of this place if you care about having a nice place to watch the game. They are walk up service only so you have to go get your drinks every time and I was told I had to get my own food too. Food is mid anyway so it's fine. I called ahead to make sure they would have the UGA game on and was told "every TV will be on UGA with sound. We are a Georgia bar." When I got there with my party only a few TVs were showing our game and we couldn't get a good view of the game. I asked the bartenders 3 times to change TVs that were in view of us to the UGA game but they did not change them. We dealt with this and just watched the game with a glare no problem. Eventually a different bartender changed the TV away from our game. Of course we asked them to change it back since we had been watching the game for 3 quarters already. We were told they wouldn't put the game back on because a table that had just arrived wanted to watch something different. Shame because this place is in walking distance and I hoped this would be my new game day spot but I'll take my business to a place with good food, table service, and workers to are honest about what you can expect from your experience at the establishment.
