Beautiful supper club spot inside the Kimpton Sylvan Atlanta with a cozy, intimate atmosphere and live music. We had fresh oysters, a perfectly cooked NY strip steak, and seared salmon with mushroom parmesan risotto, everything was well balanced and flavorful. The Nutty Professor espresso martini was a standout, and the strawberry banana pound cake was a great way to end the night.

Amazing food, music and vibes. There were live singers on a Sunday night, absolutely classy with affordable valet service.

I've visited twice now and both times the food has been absolutely delicious. Steaks and seafood both top notch. We most recently spent about 5 hours here, between the Betty and the rooftop bar, for New Years Eve and it was exactly what we wanted... chill, comfy, upscale, friendly and fun. We loved the jazz band and amazing views of the northern suburbs fireworks!

What a lovely time we had at The Betty! We were warmly greeted by the host and seated at a plush, comfortable table right away. Our server was incredibly professional and attentive, and I enjoyed one of their signature mocktails while waiting for the calamari and soup. Their chicken dish with seasonal veggies was fantastic, although the sauteed mushrooms were just a tad underdone, but still very flavorful. I loved the decor and vintage vibes! Again, our server Will was top-notch and I really enjoyed our experience!
The Betty is a go-to spot for live music lovers, conveniently located inside the Kimpton Sylvan Hotel in Buckhead. Parking is easy with $10 validated valet service.
I attended an R&B holiday gathering hosted by Black Girls Guide to Atlanta, and the artists—Bria Anai and Vince—were phenomenal. There is a two-item minimum; I enjoyed a glass of rosé and an order of truffle fries. The fries were flavorful and generously portioned, enough to share.
A service fee is added, which is good to note. Eric provided solid service throughout the evening. The décor delivers a stylish speakeasy vibe that complements the live music experience.
I look forward to returning for future performances.

I was sadly disappointed. Went as a part of my wife’s 40th birthday weekend celebration. We got there at our reservation time at 1:45 for Sunday brunch and was told the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes, so we felt rushed into making decisions. We ordered and the food was cold and under seasoned. We ordered medium steaks and they came out extra super well done. Our other guests’ food was underwhelming and it was just an overall blah experience. They did remake our steaks for us, but we waited an additional 20 minutes for them to come out and everyone else had already finished their food. They brought out cheesecake for my wife’s birthday -which was thoughtful and tasty, but other than that, I’m definitely not rushing back.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Betty at Colony Square has an undeniably elegant atmosphere — chic interiors, warm lighting, and an upscale vibe that makes it one of Atlanta’s stylish dining destinations.
🍽️ Unfortunately, the chicken entrée missed the mark. Beautifully plated over lentils with grilled lemon, but the flavor fell flat — almost reminding me of that famous lyric, “the chicken taste like wood.” For such a polished presentation, I expected more depth, seasoning, and execution to match the restaurant’s reputation for elevated Southern-inspired cuisine.
🙌 On the positive side, service was excellent. Cody, the manager, was kind, compassionate, and stood firmly on business — a reminder that great hospitality is still alive in Atlanta fine dining.
💡 Overall: With a little more attention to seasoning and consistency, the kitchen could bring the food up to the same level as the ambiance and service.
📍 If you’re looking for elegant dining in Atlanta or a stylish Midtown restaurant near Colony Square, give them a try, they may have had a bad day— just hoping the kitchen tightens up execution to fully deliver on the promise.

We went for Maxwell and D’Angelo tribute. The backup singers didn’t know the words. Singer did 3 D’Angelo songs and not one Maxwell song. There were only 3 waiters for like 50 people and they gave me a raw crab cake. All this for 100 bucks just to sit down!!’ Then 2 items per person requirement . The best thing going was the ambiance. Otherwise I will pass.

I just had the best brunch experience, with $30 bottomless mimosa. The Chicken Waffle is my favorite, the waffle is more towards the chewy side, and the fried chicken is juicy and crispy. Our server Eric and the manager Sushan were both very nice and welcoming. Definitely a must-visit if you stay at the Sylvan hotel.

My husband and I had the pleasure of having Eric D as our server. He was kind, thoughtful and so attentive. He watched our reactions to the meal as it came and made suggestions to improve. We watched as he gave everyone else the same level of attention and professionalism. We will be back to the Betty looking for Eric and another wonderful experience.

We were in the mood find a new breakfast place that had a nice atmosphere, great food and good service to get our weekend kick started. On paper, The Betty met all of the criteria. It had great reviews here on Google and it was beautiful when we walked in to the restaurant.
However, we should have known something was wrong when there was only two other tables that had people in them. They left before we got finished and no one else was there for the balance of our meal.
When we ordered, the server was prompt. Then the problems started. The coffee arrived and if you enjoy coffee, you will be disappointed. It was among the top three weakest coffees we've ever had. The server suggested that we have the Americano that was a step up but not great.
Then the food arrived. I ordered the eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy with a susage patty. What I did not realize when I ordered, because it was not listed, it was chicken sausage and chicken sausage gravy. It tasted like the chef put in two tablespoons of sugar in the gravy. It was way too sweet. The chicken sausage was inedible. I did eat the two over easy eggs, but only had two bites of the biscuits and sausage.
My wife had the chicken and waffle. The chicken was undercooked inside and overcooked on the outside. The waffle was soggy. She had two bites of each.
If there had been any other patrons in the restaurant, I would have give a higher review of the atmosphere because it looked nice. However, the food had no redeeming qualities.
Before the food came, my wife was talking about bringing her women's dining group here for dinner. After the food fiasco, we committed to stay away and warn everyone we know to do the same.

I had the steak frites and it was amazing. I requested it to be cooked medium well and the steak came out delicious!! Great atmosphere especially on Thursday nights with the live jazz and our service was great!

Dined here with a large work group. The mow t you walk in, the vibe and decor is very mid century modern and gorgeous!
The team we interacted with were all very knowledgeable and friendly!
As for the food, the ciabatta bread was warm and crispy. It’s made with bone marrow, but i didn’t get much of that flavor. The beet salad was fresh and delightful! The crab cake was crispy and very flavorful!
As for entrees, the salmon was delicious! The risotto however was a bit under done and both the risotto and spinach could use more flavor.
The pappardella with poach shrimp was another stand out entree! It was flavorful and delicious.
As for the rack of lamb, for a $74 price tag, i would personally skip it. There was not much flavor and the polenta also could use more seasoning. The Mac n cheese however made up for the polenta as it was very moist and flavorful.
In all, a decent experience but items could use more seasoning and flavorful.

The server/bartender was so flustered. She was complaining to a new guest about the previous guest although she placed their order wrong. I spoke up asked her not to do that. I told her, we agreed that it would be a greaft day and The lady appreciated you correcting the orders and gave you an extra tip. So you repay her by talking behind her back. She said it was a rush of people and it was too busy. I also told her the hotel knew we had an large group coming in so they should have prepared better. Not a good experience and I decided not to eat their the next morning.
