Not a nerd bar but a bar run by nerds. Going to miss Chef Cesar's cooking, Angela's cocktails, and impromptu emo sing-a-longs. Ponce won't be the same but at least I made some life-long friendships from this little hole in the wall. RIP Bookhouse.
Awesome bar we’re sad to see go, thus the five star review. We came the day before close to say goodbye and unfortunately had our experience ruined by the ginger waitress/bartender who was one of the rudest restaurant employees I’ve ever interacted with. Hated to go out on a negative note but regardless many good memories here and will miss it.

I'm sad that I was introduced to this place last Saturday and it will be closed in 2 weeks. It's a really cool pub. Another iconic bar to be eaten by corporate greed. 😭

Waited until we got there to close the kitchen after we called. Just go to Atlanta after a 9 hour drive. Burgers were YUMMY!!!

I bought a ten $ burger that was thinner than a price of bacon . No toppings , IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE. BEWARE . A very small portion of thin fries for 4$ also .... I do not recommend eating here ever

The Bookhouse is one of the best spots in the city in my opinion. Great staff especially Kendall, great drinks, great beer, and great vibes. Check it out. You won't be let down. I always enjoy my time at my favorite bar.
Great spot for a good meal and drinks! Right next to The Drunken Unicorn venue, free parking (limited space) Board games and card games are availble for entertainment. The Bookhouse Burger is on point!!!

If my spirit animal was a bar this would be it. Loved the bartenders energy, they were playing BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER on the TV, had Big Trouble Little China canvases on the wall (YAAS John Carpenter!!), and were playing 90s rock/alternative. Yes, I'll be back!

Not sure what it is, maybe I make my own drinks too strong but every time I go to a place and order a drink it's never strong enough and I always wonder if there's any alcohol in it. My experience at the Bookhouse Pub was just that. I like the little deck area to sit on outside.
