We used Cake Hag for our 2019 wedding. The cake was reasonably liked by our guests, but it was delivered at the last minute which caused some stress. Things worked out though, so we weren't too upset about it.
Fast forward to 2024, I contacted Cake Hag for a recreation of our wedding cake, since my husband never got to try it, for our 5 year anniversary. They agreed to make a cake back in December 2024, confirmed that the cake would be sent to me in May, and never sent the cake! They responded that the cake "got lost" in the mail. I understood that there might have been a mix-up, and they offered to send another. It never arrived either, and they stopped replying to my emails all together. Clear communication that the order wouldn't be possible or would be delayed would have made the situation easy to fix, but they ruined my anniversary gift with no apologies given! They are poor communicators and are clearly very disorganized.

We had a last-minute order cancelation from another baker for a smash cake. I reached out to Cake Hag as a Hail Mary thinking there’s no way they could make this happen, but figured I’d try. They not only accommodated a tight timeline with a specific design, but they did an impeccable job on the cake AND delivered it!
I’m honestly blown away by their professionalism, quick response, beautiful work, and attention to detail. My only regret is not ordering from them FIRST!

Cake Hag ROCKS! We ordered a custom two-cake stack in chocolate and vanilla, and one on the side to take home in red velvet for a Sweet 16 party for my daughter. The cake looked AMAZING, and tasted amazing! I realized I had forgotten candles, and Katie kindly ran out and grabbed us a, "16" candle, saving the evening! You're wonderful, Katie! :) Everyone LOVED the cake, my personal favorite was the vanilla. :) We asked for buttercream rather than fondant, because I dislike the rubbery consistency of fondant. All in all, a fantastic addition to a wonderful Sweet 16! Thanks so much again! We will be back!

I called (no one ever answered) and emailed about a cake order for 6/17 on 6/9. Plenty of time for a basic birthday cake with common flavors. We agreed to a delivery window one hour before the party. When the cake still had not arrived 30 min after the end of the window (and 30 min before the party), I called and emailed for an update. I received an email response saying the cake was damaged and returned but they did not notify me until I reached out and asked. They never had the decency to even call. Thank goodness I was checking my email in the middle of everything for my sons birthday party (dripping with sarcasm). I cant say anything about how their cakes look or taste for I never saw one. Disappointing business practices for sure. I can certainly support Publix bakery for their last minute accommodations.

This place is a scam! If they don’t have the flavors you ask for they will lie and promise they’ll deliver what you ask and as soon as they are paid and put the cake in your hands they surprise you with the news that the cake isn’t the flavor you asked because they were out. I trusted them twice with my daughter’s birthdays. At first I thought it was an honest mistake then it happened again this year. They are thieves, they lack respect for the customers and no integrity at all. I have spent more than $200 at this place and what a waste!! Walmart could have made better cakes for so much less. The worst place!
