Beautiful little spot in College Park, walkable from the convention center. The staff is friendly and professional, and we didn’t have to wait long at all for an outstanding burger for lunch. I’d love to come back here and try more of the menu if I get the opportunity.

I ordered the lemon pepper chicken and rice, which comes with a huge broccoli TREE.
The food itself was delicious. I have no problem with the food, at least the one I tasted. My mom's veggie burger was good in her opinion and my son's cheeseburger also was good.
My issue is that you're paying almost $20 if not more PER meal, and that doesn't include the drinks that come in bottles with no refills!
On top of the fact that it's $26 for the Mahi Mahi plate, if you don't like the sides it comes with, you're stuck with it anyway. You can ADD another side for SEVEN dollars but you still have to stay with the side it comes with that you won't eat.
Frankly, I'm a really good cook and I genuinely feel I could have made the same meal at home for much much less which being filled much more.
Idk, it just isnt worth the money spent.
Overall, its a nice place with decent food and if you can afford it, go for it.

I placed an online order on 6/12/25 for several items. Specifically when ordering the gumbo I was given the option to choose no crab or shrimp. In addition to notating this, I specifically typed in the comments “no shrimp or crab due to shellfish allergy”. When I arrived home, I noticed a large piece of shrimp and crabmeat in the gumbo. Fortunately, I was able to see the shellfish which prevented me from catastrophically tasting it as this could’ve resulted in a life threatening emergency. I immediately called the restaurant back and spoke with a female manager who requested that I return the order to the restaurant before a refund could be issued. I returned to the restaurant the next day with the food and asked for the manager as I had been instructed to. Unfortunately, the female manager was not there. I was able to speak with another manager (Miles) who informed me he would refund my purchase. Unfortunately, it is more than a week later and the refund has not been issued. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated. If you’re unable to customize food, it should not be listed as an option on the menu. Every time I order at this particular location, there is an issue. I would advise not to eat at the Main Street location. If you must eat at the Corner Grille, your best bet is the west midtown location. It could be a matter of life or death.

Went there today to celebrate Juneteenth. I started with the calamari as my appetizer. The first batch was cold, and while the second batch was slightly better, both servings looked like leftover scraps from the fryer basket. Two of the ladies with me ordered the fried oysters—unfortunately, the first batch was overcooked and hard as a rock. When they brought out a second batch, they were extremely salty. Even the manager agreed after tasting them.
At that point, we were hesitant to continue with our meals, but we decided to give it a try. Sadly, the entrees weren’t any better—the food wasn’t served hot and lacked appeal overall. We were given a discount, but if the food had been properly prepared in the first place, that wouldn’t have been necessary. It’s worth noting that the restaurant wasn’t even busy at the time.
Our server, however, was excellent. Bottom line: I won’t be returning.

First time here. Went with the family suggested by my daughter. The location is not the best. Parking is not existent. Only street parking.
Inside looks clean. Decor is simplistic to the point of looking like a cafeteria. Seems like they tried to make the place more upscale, but to me, it just doesn't work. It does not match with the location either. They have two dining floors, and the stair are a bit steep, so I can imagine elderly customers going up there easily.
Service was good. Staff is friendly. Unfortunately, at some point, it got busier, and our waitress disappeared for a long time, so we had to wait to get our check.
Food was good, so I did not have a problem paying the higher price. Menu is not complicated and has food choices for everyone. Including kids' menu items. Food was well presented and had good portions. Flavors were good and not overpowering. I did enjoy the food.
Overall, it's not my taste of location but good food. For locals, it may be a good spot, but since I'm out of town, it won't be a place to come back to.

We are in town on business, stopped in and ordered Ribeye, Garlic mashed potatoes and Salad. The steak was absolutely flavorful, tender and juicy. Not a fatty steak. Customer service was exceptional. We will probably stop in again tomorrow!!! 1st time, sold us!!
Parking: Parking is on street, plenty of space close into walking distance.

I have been coming to the Corner Grill since I found it on accident back in 2017 the food is always delicious the service is always great the way it can be a little long and it makes me wonder why they don't open upstairs instead of making people wait so long but I digress I will continue to visit because the food is delicious and it's well worth the wait if you have not discovered this Hidden Gem on the corner you need to try it

This was a nice restaurant with a great menu. It's not terribly extensive but a wonderful variety of items. All of the food was seasoned very well and each of the items had distinct unique flavors. I had the lemon pepper chicken, jasmine rice and broccoli. I also had the opportunity to try the pork chop, Mashed potatoes, crab cake and calamari. Everything was hot and delicious. The wait staff was attentive and courteous. We will definitely come to visit again.
