The Earl is a classic venue for watching live music. It is small and intimate and has great sound. I have been to several shows there in the past year and the sound has always been amazing. It feels like a club from the 80s but it is not dingy at all.
We were to another bar and someone referred us to this bar for good bar food. We wanted good burgers and fries so we stopped in to check them out. We both ordered burgers. I got the fries. She got the okra. The okra was abundant and good. I don’t like shoe string fries. They’re easy to over Fry and become to firm and even though they look abundant, they really aren’t that many. The beef in the burger tasted fresh and hand pattied, which we prefer but the burgers lacked seasoning....
Great divey bar with a few pub grub, vegan options. The BEST staff. Great music, and stiff drinks. If I lived here, this would be a usual haunt for me.
