The James Room is a beautiful hidden gem. The ambiance 10/10. The food 10/10 AND I loved how active the chef was. She interacted with guests, brought out the food, and added to the good energy in the room. The DJ was doing his thing! The entire experience 10/10!
The DJ's playlist was incredible. More than 2 or 3 Afro Beat tracks would have been a plus. Service could have been a bit better. There were only two active servers trying to cover the entire room.
The chef Jalliea (sp) was so kind to indulge in our questions and greet us. Her attention to detail, expertise abd passion for cuisine and the over all fine dining and expansive knowledge was amazing. I will definitely be back for the kale salad w/ salmon and the broccoli was to Die for. The staff was welcoming accommodating and the bar tender owner and chefs ...Black excellence at its finest. I will be here every chance I get. My sib loved her drinks and overall cute quaint Solar...
