Fabulous!! We got a pork plate and ribs, and both were delicious. Okra was perfectly fried, Mac n cheese was decent (upgraded Kraft, not baked). Beans had good flavor. Potato salad was good. The mustard sauce tasted great. Service was lovely and all the employees were exceedingly kind. Highly recommend!!

Unflavored sides (Mac & cheese, canned string beans and collard greens). The barbecue ribs of zero flavor and sauce. We had to pay for sauce. Chicken had good grill flavor but still not well seasoned. Will not return especially with high prices
Drove there today from Atlanta. The barbeque itself was some of the best I've had since moving to Atlanta. The sides were decent but again the meat itself, ribs, rib tips and chicken was delicious. Will definitely go back!!

I genuinely wanna know who is keeping this place open can’t be the customers because the food is disgusting like nasty and then they got the nerve to be high as hell with that food tasting like that I went to this place one time and never went back again
Whenever I visit the Metro area, I make sure to grab rib tips from this place to take back home to Birmingham! Delicious without the sauce. It will leave you wondering just how they make their meat so savory!

2nd review:Just gave my second chance at this place. Still a wait when empty. This time, I just had simple questions about the menu, then I became a problem and met the negative change in attitude. Big papa, the head of the place, reacted like as if he had to deal with a rude or nasty customer. Which was nothing close. I just asked what item on the menu could feed the most people? No matter how this food tastes, I will not be giving my money to anyone who does not have a sense of appreciation for my patronage. Something is not quite right about their customer service skills. Just like attitude can make a person unattractive the same can be said for the Mustard Seed.
1st review: Wait times and no acknowledgment when you walk in the place. Rather, drive out to Fox Bros or some other place because of the wait time.

My first time trying. The order of ribs I got was plentiful but tasted and smelled slightly of lighter fluid. My friends didn't. Will give them one more try.
