The Mustard Seed is legendary!!! The mustard barbecue sauce is rich and delicious. I remember finding their original spot (a hole in the wall- off of Cascade Road). The atmosphere is no frills- basic. I’m so glad Bert or Burt was able to expand as his barbecue speaks for the brand. The chicken and ribs are always perfect—- I just don’t do their sides at all. When family visits, this is where I pick up something and pretend like I cooked it myself. ;) just joking

Ok so it’s time I give my review on this place I been here about three times and normally I don’t give people three chances two and that’s it the let’s start with the ribs are not fallOff the bone they are a bit tough all all three times I gave them a chance and the ribs were tuff the first two times were supposed to be rib tips but they were huge and tough you can’t bite into them an they taste like they been cooking all day slow cooked because they obviously don’t slow cook them to perfections the sides are nasty idk who’s making them but I didn’t buy sides the last time I went because they were nasty the baked Mac nd cheese the greens dont taste right at all so that’s why I just ordered the ribs big mistake again lol EVERYTIME I go they are literally empty but I won’t be returning they not getting any more money from very dissatisfied customer disappointed in the black owned business they don’t be caring smh

The food is flavorful and well seasoned. The mustard bbq sauce is amazing. The portions are generous. The service is inconsistent at best. The young lady is very good but the young man is not very customer oriented. The ambiance is nonexistent so I get it to go.
