Wonderful atmosphere and great food. Went for the oyster happy hour and stayed into the full dinner service. My partner and I loved the lobster roll and the half chicken entrees. The drinks were good and our server was attentive and provided helpful recommendations. This was our second time at Optimist. Enjoyed it a lot. We had octopus and fried oysters for appetizers. The octopus was delicious. Oysters had too much breading on them. For dinner had the lobster roll, sea bass, and swordfish. All was good. The bottles of wine were pricey.

I don't know if I've ever experienced better service, ever! Kelly was the absolute best! She anticipated our needs and stayed attentive to our table for the duration of our dinner.
We ordered the smoked fish dip, kale salad, octopus that was flash fried, butter burger, steak fries, and dinner rolls that were obviously baked in heaven!
All of dishes exceeded our expectations to the point where I need an excuse to go back and try more from the menu!
