The Orient Restaurant has been a solid lunch spot for us. I’ve only visited during lunch hours, but they offer decent lunch specials with good portion sizes, which feels like a good value.

The food was enjoyable — we ordered General Tso’s chicken and sweet and sour chicken, and both were well-prepared and satisfying. Our toddler had a kids noodle dish, which was perfect for her. Drinks were also decent; I had a lemon drop martini and enjoyed it.

Service was friendly and attentive, and parking was easy with plenty of split-level parking available, which is always a plus. While lunch has a relaxed vibe, I can imagine the atmosphere feeling more romantic or elevated in the evening.

Overall, no complaints at all — good food, good service, and a comfortable experience. We’ll definitely be back.

I recently dined at the Orient and I would say the experience was somewhat pleasant. I came in a little late though my server was attentive. I have a gluten allergy and she had no knowledge whatsoever about the sauces and the allergies, and didn’t really know what gluten was. I ended up asking the chef directly ( since I ate at the sushi bar). He checked and did his due diligence, though at one point asked me if mayo had gluten. I will say I usually feel unsafe regarding my allergy at a large majority of restaurants and this experience wasn’t any different.
On the other hand the food was quite delicious. Definitely memorable, and that alone is worth coming back for. I usually frequent sushi village, though I would give this place another try.
I ordered a beef udon for my friend and the server brought out the entree portion when I pointed to the side portion on the menu. We wanted to have our appetizer together and when she brought out my soup and not hers we were confused. When my entree came she brought out this huge bowl for my friend and we didn’t want to send it back solely due to the fact that it was late, and my allergy was already a hassle because of lack of knowledge.
I got the Snow White roll without the balsamic glaze, hamachi sashimi, sake ceviche, and akami. I will have to say, the Snow White was one of the best rolls I’ve ever had. The sake ceviche was such a wonderful experience with creme brûléed avocado. My friend also enjoyed it as well.

Walked in to this place and it looked great but the ladies greeting folks walking in and seating them need more training how to treat customers . Very rude mannerisms.
They had a lot of attitude and need to treat their customers with respect as each customer who walks into that restaurant is their pay check .
I am big on customer service and would like to be welcomed with a smile and respected.
Otherwise our waiter was awesome and food was g delicious.

We have been regular customers for nearly six years, visiting approximately three to four times each month. Unfortunately, over the past year, we have noticed a consistent decline in food quality. Issues have included missing add-ons, burnt rice, undercooked items, and orders not prepared according to the instructions provided. We have addressed these concerns with our server, and at times the manager, but the only response we have received has been an apology. There has been no effort to correct the order or make any meaningful accommodation. At the same time, prices have continued to increase while quality has continued to decrease. Given our long history as loyal customers, this trend is extremely disappointing. At this time, we will not be returning until there is a clear improvement in both quality and service.

The Snow White Roll was truly delicious, standing out primarily due to its star ingredient: plump, melt-in-your-mouth scallops. The texture of the scallops was wonderfully enriched by the addition of a balsamic vinaigrette reduction liberally drizzled on top. I didn't care for the micro greens used as a garnish and cast them aside, so I can't comment on their contribution to the flavor profile, but the roll itself was a fantastic, well-executed dish.

I also got a King Kong Roll, which, true to its name, certainly came with a substantial amount of meat. While the flavor was great, the sheer volume was a bit overwhelming, making the roll too heavy overall.

Finally, the Crispy Shrimp and Pork rolls were a solid, enjoyable starter.

Oh, and I should mention the mocktails – they were fantastic too! We were really taken care of by Andrew, he's a great guy.

Food is horrible, either too salty or sweet. If you want to eat authentic Asian food don’t go there. The chef doesn’t know how to cook Asian food at all.

This was one of the nicer Asian-Chinese restaurants I've visited in the Atlanta area. My experience included a friendly and attentive staff with a well prepared food offering. Pricing was in the upper middle range of what might be expected, but the experience was well worth the overall cost.

Another one of my favorite spots to eat! The food and drinks are always top tier; consistently fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The atmosphere adds to the experience, and I love that you can even feed the fish while you’re there. Always a great time!

I’ve been coming to The Orient for 4 years and it’s always my go to for great drinks, food and atmosphere! Geo the bartender is a staple of this restaurant. BEST drinks! He’s accompanied by bartender Sam if you’re lucky and then vibes are immaculate! These 2 together makes your day! Tim the manager ALWAYS comes to check on you and is pleased to make your special requests a reality:) I LOVE THE WHOLE ORIENT FAMILY

Sam is the rudest bartender ever. She is so unprofessional- I went there all the time and spent lots of money. But I won’t anymore because I refuse to be treated like the way she treated me. Not worth the food as the experience is too uncomfortable
