The Original Big Daddy's Dish

The food was excellent, but I felt it was a bit overpriced. I suggest allowing customers to serve themselves and be charged by weight, similar to larger chains like Golden Corral, as well as Indian and Chinese restaurants. Unfortunately, many African American restaurants tend to be overpriced and slow to adapt to such practices, as seen with “This Is It” and now this place. I hope this honest feedback is helpful. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Always good food

These people is nasty and rude people. I seen a rat near the ice box where the pudding and drinks are kept and they had a nerve to tell me to leave because I wa staying to take a picture !!!!! This place is nasty that's the second time I see a rat while doing delivery orders from this place. They were very rude especially the dark bald head old man that work the tables. I don't recommend this place. It's better and clean places out there. It's very over hyped.

Amazing food i really luv this resturant

The other day I placed an order through DoorDash for some beef tips w/rice, and 2 sides but my order was wrong and DoorDash refused to give me my money back. I called Big Daddy's Soul Food to let them know and Big Daddy himself made sure that I got my food fresh and hot as he had one of his employees deliver it to me. I always order from them when I don't feel like cooking and I am truly grateful for that moment. I just wanted to say thank you for the excellent service you provided!! Great customer service!!!

It’s a no for me!! Over priced… maybe I got the wrong big daddy dish beef tips, yellow rice yams greens.. the peach cobbler taste like got bisque I was looking for the crunch in the crust!

I don't see how they keep up with all this food. Purely amazing. The jerk turkey wings my favorite. ????

Good always on point, no complaints.. I just moved to Atl from NY and one thing I miss from NY is the food but big daddy’s always hold it down and that strawberry banana pudding be on point too. Prices a tad bit steep but they gone fill ya plate

Here's the good, lots of food options and the service...great one day, not so good the last visit. That is all about the good.

Here's the bad, not so sure why this place stays so busy. The food at best is JUST ok and for the price.....there are cheaper place with better food!

Excellent customer service! All of the staff is very nice and helpful. They offer a lot of food choices so there’s something for everyone and the desserts are delicious. My dad really enjoyed, I think this is his new favorite restaurant

Food is horrible, ribs is not tender at all, meatloaf is watery and disgusting! collard greens is not seasoned at all. Macaroni is watery and salty very unclean there

Wow, what an amazing place to eat soul food. The service was awesome, especially both the young men, Romeo and Brian. They explained the process on how to order and did not rush me to decide. I love great service, especially in Atlanta. I will return before I leave.
