the wait time is horrific waited over an hour for an online order will never be held hostage by this place again I do not recommend unless u literally have all day to wait on food just thrown together

Turkey wings dry, mac and cheese had no flavor no real cheese, too much ketchup on the meatloaf, cornbread was dry and lacked flavor. Not the way I remembered it. Just average cafeteria food.

The prices were higher than listed online.
The food was good for the most part. The only issues I had were: the mashed potatoes were a little salty; one turkey wing of the two was old; the corn muffin was cold, the green beans were lukewarmand the sweet tasted a little funny.

This was this first time me and my family ever visited the collage park area and wanted to try this particular restaurant as we have heard nothing but good things about it when we walked in atmosphere was pleasantly nice I asked where do the line start as it was kind of pact the lady told us in the back me and my family go to the back of the line a nice gentleman greeted us and ask us what would we like my husband was talking to the the gentleman and a older lady came along and said there is other people
In front of y’all which is fine but we were the only people standing back there my husband then said that we were the only
Ones in the back she proceeded to to get hostile I told my husband no need to argue we do not have to eat here first impression is a lasting impression will never go back to this location again hopefully they will train there staff better customer service

Food is very tasty. I ordered pork chops and they were delicious. I didn't really care for the macaroni n cheese, the collard greens were ok. I'd go again. I like the variety of different meats they offered.

As chaotic as it may seem on a Sunday afternoon after church, they have a pretty good system going on. The portions are plentiful and there are several meat (pork, beef, chicken, turkey) and vegetable options for you to choose from. Don't forget to get an ice cold soda from the grab and go, a good old cup of that southern sweet tea or one of their specialty lemonades or Kool aids. You'll think Granny is in the back baking as their are several desserts to suit your fancy! Cakes of all varieties, cookies, cobblers and the banana pudding! Friendly and family friendly, dine in/take out, and handicapped accessible. Don't cook today and try Big Daddy's Dish where service, good food and cleanliness will have you coming back for more. (I'll be back next week to get them turkey wings and rutabagas😋!)

Food was great ! I got the ITIS after eating it lol I was driving back to Louisiana and had to stop for a nap. Only thing I didn't like was the employees arguing about bringing more food out right in front of all the guests, that was just god awful. Go to do better folks !

I've visited all four corners of the U.S. and got some of the best customer service ever from a gentlemen named L. Real southern hospitality here. I've had the smothered turkey, yams, peach cobbler, mac n cheese, broccoki casserole, fried porkchops, and cant wait to come back. This place is great, I highly recommend!!

My friend and i were there Tuesday September 9th about 4pm , small wait no problem, we paid $85 no drink , very over priced, this restaurant was dark, cluttered, old , my short ribs were salty
Her oxtails made her sick , everything looked over cooked , plus i bought 3 slices of cakes and all of them were dry not fresh.
not sure how long the food set on the hot line our if any temps are taken.
However its sad that we as black business can't serve better quality and fresher foods. Very disappointed

The food was excellent, but I felt it was a bit overpriced. I suggest allowing customers to serve themselves and be charged by weight, similar to larger chains like Golden Corral, as well as Indian and Chinese restaurants. Unfortunately, many African American restaurants tend to be overpriced and slow to adapt to such practices, as seen with “This Is It” and now this place. I hope this honest feedback is helpful. 🤷🏽‍♀️
