Took my friends here from out of town eat. We were charged $32 for a lamb chop plate. $28 for oxtails and $29 for beef ribs. All of the food had been sitting for a while. The lamb chops were rubbery, oxtails were tuff, the ribs were fatty and the meat wasn’t on the bone. It was slop. The broccoli casserole was pretty much just big chunks of broccoli and cheese no rice. I’ve been going to this place since it was on Riverdale road. Yesterday by far was the worst. Plus there’s no menu on the wall with prices, far as I know the cashier could’ve put any price in. I will NEVER step foot in here again.

I went on a Sunday around 3:30 and didn’t get out of line until 5:30. Food was worth it but they need a faster more efficient system of serving. No matter if you’re dining in or taking out you wait in line forever.

Absolutely 5 stars. The best soul food/home cooked meal I’ve had since moving to Georgia. The customer service was excellent as well. Very friendly staff. Food was looking so good I had to stay and eat on the inside! The portions were also plentiful. I will definitely be returning. Can’t wait to try out the rest of the menu! I’m going to sleep good tonight ??

Home cooking like my mom. Very very kind people, no rushing you. They have so much to choose from.
Sometime you just gotta tell him exactly what you want but the food is great. The only thing I don’t like is the macaroni and cheese because they use regular cheddar I like sharp cheese.
It was my first visit, but it was a pleasant one. It was like being back home in Louisiana and having a family dinner with family. Sooooo many delicious choices.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetables and non-meat options to choose from.
