The servers and service was great!! The QR scanning to order and pay your bill was pretty cool. Cocktails and liquor drinks were good. Even the Arnold Palmer was good. What wasn’t so good was the food. We picked this place for a 40th birthday because the menu sound pretty good. Well, what a let down. Deviled eggs were nasty (Tasted like egg whites and mustard). Tips and tots had more fat than meat. Pulled pork, dry. Turkey, tasted microwaved and dry. Peach cobbler, yuck. Probably should have realized something wasn’t right when we walked in and the place wasn’t super busy on a Friday night. Tried it and probably won’t be back.
Ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and it was delish!!!Went there for the first time over the weekend. Good service.
The food was great. the service was fast and convenient. You are able to just sit down at order using the qr code. The orders are detailed allowing you to do thing like put sauces that normally come on food on the side. The food comes out pretty fast as well plating is great and flavors on point… best part you were able to pay with same QR code and just leave no waiting for checks
Absolutely terrible now--used to go here all the time. Hadn't been in about a year. Boy, has it changed and not for the better. They took some of the best items off the menu--the peach pancakes, the fried green tomatoes, the trout spread. Now, it's mostly meat dishes, a few sides and they are constantly trying to encourage you to order alcohol. The brunch menu is Super limited and what they do have tastes Nothing like it used to. Ordered the devil eggs--were salty and tasted like straight mayo. They also now charge for condiments--yes you heard that right. I ordered a biscuit-- to get jelly for the biscuit, they now charge .45 cents. They brought a smuckers grape jelly in a plastic pack. We ordered deviled eggs, a side of bacon, 1 biscuit and shrimp and grits. Bill was $50. Food was bland, bacon tasted microwaved, biscuit literally tasted dough-like, shrim&grits was watered down--just bad now. Service was non-existent bc the ordering process is totally automated. However they automatically charge an 18% "service charge"--don't know what the heck for. LOL! needless to say, one of my former fav restaurants will not be seeing me again.
This is a little Gem in Atlantic Station. Angela, the head Chef, is amazing! Everything we tried was excellent! The food and drinks were exceptional! They serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Cindy the owner is so friendly and welcoming. She works along side her staff and makes certain that your experience is great. This is a must try!
Ordered the smoked wings & fish and chips.Wings tasted more fried than smoked to be honest but they were good.Collard greens, coleslaw and fries were great. Potato salad was good. The choices of sauces were ok as well.
My fiance and I stopped in here cause we've passed it several times. The staff was friendly, the food was good, but the prices are a bit high for the quantity of food you get. $25 for three bacon strip sizes if brisket and four wings is a bit high. The deviled eggs are certainly deviled with a nice bite to them. The Brunswick stew was very good and hearty. The ability to order all your food on your phone and pay for it is nice, but then charging 20% to use said service and then ask to tip was kind of a slap in the face. Especially when we had three different people taking care of us. Overall, the food was good, the service was fine, but the price and "service fee" takes away from the experience. I came into a store, not order it of GrubHub or Door dash.
I ordered some chicken wings and discovered that they were cross contaminated by basically cooking pork and chicken on the same grill. There wasn't an advisory or signage that this was their cooking process or possible risk. My wife suffers from allergies that is allergies that will close up her throat if she touches a piece of pork.. It's the restaurant's responsibility to advise customer's of this is this potential risk.
Visited P&P for a dinner date. It’s a chill spot. Nice big bar w lots of seating, otherwise you seat yourself and order from the table. Foods brought to you. I got the pulled pork it was 9/10 - there are sauces at the table. My date got the brisket/ribs platter and I don’t think he’d order it again but the ribs were fire. Overall I’d come here again and try other things. 4/5
Suggestion: Order for takeout or on Uber Eats. This had to be one of the strangest and worst dining experiences of my life. While I can understand in lieu of COVID, the need for touchless menu and less contact, what The Pig and The Pearl has done is completely deconstruct, destroy, and obliterate the concept of going to a restaurant. Upon sitting down, the "server" let us know that they would not be serving us, that we could not order any item from them, not even a coffee, instead, you have to order everything through your cell phone. When I did ask for a coffee, I was told that I would not be served unless I ordered it on the phone first (albeit, upon requesting a little extra orange juice for the mimosa, we were charged $3.00 on the phone, so they have the capability of taking orders, they just no longer want to). The food comes out in dribbles and drips, randomly. Thankfully we were sharing the food, else each of us would have been eating our food at completely different times. In order to request more water, coffee, or any refillables which are typically handled freely and without question, you have to hold up a card requesting a shot of Tito's, for the "server" to recognize that you want some service (something that was not explained to us upon our seating and is clearly anything but COVID friendly). Seeing as we did not know this, we were allotted one glass of water each for the entirety of the meal. Strangely enough, a man, not our "server" attempted to take our plates (with food still on it) four times. He didn't seem to care about our empty water glasses. There is a long list of instructions as to how you are supposed to order, request additional service, and pay, which was also not explained to us upon sitting down. What the owner or manager of this restaurant might have thought was a revolution in dining is actually the opposite. Might as well have fired all their servers, put a front desk up, and take orders like McDonalds, but again, this restaurant no longer seems to want to serve people. When I finally figured out how to pay the bill, they AUTOGRATUITY 18%. Now, despite the lack of service, I was prepared, as I always am, to give 20%. Had I not asked what the service charge was, I would have been tipping 38%. The absolute audacity to autograt a table despite the complete refusal to actually serve us our food, is absurd. The only reason I gave this two stars is because the food is decent. Here's my suggestion again: order this on uber eats or for pick up. This isn't a restaurant, this is a food stall with tables. I will not be returning for dining unless they actually want someone to dine there.

First thing first, you have to put in your own order and it’s overpriced.(Thumbs down) If you want to make a change to your order how can you if no waitstaff is around to do so.I ordered the deviled eggs… TERRIBLE!! The recipe is disgusting.. taste like they poured pickle juice or vinegar in the base. The food was cold when it did come out & it was under seasoned. The oysters taste like it was sitting out and not refrigerated properly.Didn’t even complain because I was from out of town visiting my parents.I’m giving this restaurant 2 stars because the wings were actually good & the greeter was very professional.Just say…. It was 6 of us & 4 of us was sick afterwards. Didn’t even make it to the car before one of us started throwing up (I believe it was because of the oysters).
I loved it and will definitely return. From the front door to the bar - short ride, yet excellent service!! Oh, did I tell ya that the food was great!?!!
Amazing food, drinks, and service! Can't wait to go back and try more!
First time here, pretty good food!! Service was great as well!
The food quality was top notch and it was well prepared. I had the beef brisket with a serving size of more than I could eat in one sitting. My sons enjoyed their meals as well. We had the pork rinds as an appetizer but it was brought out at the same time as our main course. The rating is based on the service and food quality. I took off one star because the price seemed excessive.
