Eat here if it is open and you are looking for a waffle or sandwich!Excellent food! However the hours aren't the most convenient. I've only had the blueberry mint marscapone waffle with maple syrup. Best waffle I've ever had! Perfectly cooked.**Obselete, see below** I feel this could be one of the best restaurants in Atlanta, but there wasn't table service that I was aware of when I visited, and the menu is a bit limited (no dinner options, just sandwiches). Don't let these criticisms discourage you from going.Fizzy coffee is a unique treat, but it may not work with all flavors. I had lime but I feel like chocolate would work better.UPDATE 12/1/2019: They are now open for dinner service, serve alcohol beverages, and have a delicious dinner menu. A true gem of Atlanta.

Great lesser-known spot in Poncey Highland. Good coffee and teas, including some specialty drinks, and pretty good food. Lots of large tables to get work done, and frequently serves as a gathering spot for community events (when there isn't an ongoing pandemic).

I've been here three or four times and we love getting a late breakfast here on the weekends. It is cozy and friendly with a somewhat limited menu, but very reasonably priced. Since the pandemic began, they have been seating people outside, but it doesn't feel overly hot since the patio is covered. We will be back again soon.

We came here after trying to go to another restaurant nearby but the wait was so long. I find The Poncey Highland on Yelp and I call up and Lucky for us they had just open @11 so we were the first customer. I am someone that is big on cleanliness and customer service and living in Atlanta parking is always a problem especially downtown so for me All 3 boxes check off! Greete with a big smile with parking less than 15 steps away and the coffee and food was delicious we sit outside, somewhere we will Definitel

I recently moved into the neighborhood (yes, moving during a pandemic is hard but living in a tiny studio space is harder on your mental state) and I found this place on Yelp. It noted that it was a good spot for brunch and I had been craving a breakfast sandwich for a while. I called in but unfortunately, they weren't doing any breakfast items to go just yet but the owner recommended their pasta dishes for me to pick up later. After some discussion, I decided to get the lobster ravioli with the caesar salad for two ($35). I created a pickup time for 6pm the following day. The owner came to the door and greeted me with a mask and brought out everything in a nice bag. She told me if I was not going to eat my ravioli right away that I should heat it on the pan later. I thanked her and walked back to my place. Wow. I think there were some black truffle shavings over the lobster ravioli and the caesar salad was a grilled caesar salad and the smokiness was a welcomed addition to the creamy and umami of the dressing. The leaves weren't too wilted and the texture was different but a welcomed one along with the crunchy croutons. I also got about four generously large sourdough batard slices (made in-restaurant I believe). I made avocado toast with the bread for a couple of days with it and it was fantastic. I believe an entire batard is $7 for sale. It's realllllly good. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fresh loaf of sourdough. I can't wait to go back to get more take out and to dine at their cute patio once we're all in a bit of a better shape.

The bartender was very nice and helpful. She made me a delicious off-menu mocktail after asking what flavors I do/don't enjoy. Highly recommend for sober/non-drinking folks. Environment is cozy and nice for spending time with friends. The grilled cheese is also amazing.

This is one of my favorite places in Atlanta to get breakfast. Tonight I had dinner there and my mind was totally blown. I don’t want this place to become more popular, but they very much deserve an amazing review!!

The food was great, the atmosphere excellent, the decor is a work of it. A fun place to eat at with good music and a nice view of the charming neighborhood.

So, my girlfriend actually located this coffee spot. We had just left from hanging out at Piedmont Park and wanted to get some coffee. Our first inkling was, of course, starbucks but she decided she wanted something more quaint. Through the power of Yelp, she found this coffee shop. Just so that you know, parking is a challenge. The ambience is very quaint...Dark woods, coffee bar..exactly what we were looking for. My coffee was good and the latte, she ordered was delicious. She also ordered a creme brulee, which came out flaming...it was also delicious.. the only issue I had was the service...we sat at a table and ordered and the waitress rudely asked me to pay right away as if we were going to walk out without paying or something. I didnt let it distract me too much.

Quaint little place with interesting signature cocktails and fun appetizers. Particularly enjoyed the 1950s music which completely fit the space.

Darling atmosphere, 1950s music and cocktails handcrafted with care! Basil & Black Pepper Gin Sour...perfectly sweet, sour and spicy.

Is this a coffee shop or a bar or a restaurant?? The chalkboard lists coffee and weird sandwiches and waffles(??) and then in small wording says Full Bar...???? And the official hanging sign says PH COFFEESHOP!!! This has been an awesome place in the past - 640! - but this isn’t even a local hangout anymore!!! CREATE AN IDENTITY!!!! THE NEIGHBORHOOD WILL EMBRACE YOU! But dang you are NOT marketing well AT. ALL.

Hidden gem. Great place to grab a coffee or drink. Small menu, but the food is superb. Also a great place to work quietly for a couple of hours.
