I don't know what sorcery was used to create their GF donuts, but it makes me think anything is possible. If you're a GFer who wants a donut you actually have to open your mouth all the way to eat, this is the place. No more insulting baby donuts!!! This donut is adult-sized and the texture is UNREAL. Seriously, I've had non-GF donuts (in a past life) that don't compare to Salty's GF ones. I'm considering moving cities just so I can be close to a Salty's. Only downside is that it'll ruin all other donuts for ya. You've been warned!

Ambiance is cool. The coffee was really good. Donuts weren’t terrible. I’ve definitely had better. I didn’t expect to be wowed, all donuts kind of taste the same to me. But the problem here is that when I bit into the strawberry shortcake donut, the filling was completely rotten :(. It was literally the color gray. I was a little late with realizing that I swallowed some of it because the super sweet icing on top masked the taste of the rotten filling. So here I am, writing a review while dealing with food poisoning from whatever that donut was filled with. I wasn’t even going to mention that I told one of the employees that there were flies just taking strolls, feasting and laying eggs on the cinnamon donuts. He pulled out the tray and said “I don’t see it”. Um when does a fly just sit there while you look him dead in the face?? Never!! I guess I should’ve listened to my mom when she said that we should just leave. But I don’t need to be eating donuts anyway so thank you for the reminder. If you’re reading this, go eat an apple or something it’s better for you ??

Ok so honestly I expected this place to be really overpriced since it's by Krog Street Market and most Atlanta coffee shops aren't cheap nowadays, but their prices ended up being more reasonable than I thought they'd be! And the garlic butter roll was really big (and delicous, ofc), so that was awesome. Service was great, it was super busy (a Sunday morning) but with only two guys behind the counter they did a great job and took orders pretty quickly. The guy who took my order was friendly, too, which I always appreciate especially as a former food service worker. I only ordered the roll and the brown sugar chai (which was also great) but omg, their donuts look incredible and I am really looking forward to coming back to try them all!
The only thing I would bring up to first time visitors is that their indoor space is pretty small and there aren't a lot of places to sit in there, so when I went there for the first time and it was really crowded I was a little overwhelmed. But I get it, a coffee/donut shop on Krog probably wouldn't be able to have a much bigger location than theirs, so I respect that. I sat in there doing work for a few hours and it did calm down a lot though, so I guess it would usually be more comfortable than when I first got there. Also they do have decent space outside with a few tables so that's great to keep in mind especially with the weather getting cooler. They've got a great playlist going too lol, I heard a little bit of everything in there.

This was my first time visiting the salty and I must say I’m pleased. I had a sweet tooth and it was fulfilled. I purchase the strawberry shortcake donuts. It was just the right amount of sweet without it being too sweet. They weee sold out of the pistachio flavor but I’ll be trying that next

We arrived to them only having classic donuts left . It was good. The coffee and lemon aid was good. Disappointed we couldn’t try other specialty donuts. Had to pay $10 for parking just to not have a good experience.

Oo the donuts themselves are mid at best. The dough is too dense across every flavor. There is no attempt to control or compliment the intense level of sweetness with anything else so it all blends together. If you just want a sugar punch to the teeth where you can barely tell each wacky donut from the next, go for it. Another issue, they sent the wrong items in my delivery but there’s no way to get nobody called or asked about an appropriate replacement and I cant get a refund so I paid for something I didn’t get which is just annoying but we did get 6 flavors. That mostly tasted the same. So yeah one star it is.
