The donuts are the best in the city, and the service is great. However, this location needs to be more consistent with their opening hours and corporate needs to do a better job.

On three separate occasions in 2025, I have arrived shortly after open at 8:15am or so, to be told that their donuts have not arrived yet. Which for a donut shop, is unacceptable.

Today I arrive, and as of 9:15am (an hour and fifteen minutes after opening) the shop is closed and the employees are sitting outside and look like they are yet again waiting on a delivery or can't get into the building.

What is the disconnect here? This would be one of my easiest five star reviews if they can just open on time. Or just change your store hours to match what you're capable of. I drive from across town to get to this location because it's worth it, when I can actually get donuts that is.

EDIT ON 9-22:
I emailed Salty Donut Customer Service shortly after I wrote this review. Not looking for any recompense, just wanted to bring the issues to light. Thanks

The latte is good and the donuts are good as well but the service I was received was terrible. The guy who worked there was rude and he acted like he didn’t give a shit to be there but don’t be rude to a customer. He was a black dude working there Monday September 22 around 8am. Rude as hell

The maple and brown sugar cold brew was way too sweet. It tasted like straight sugar, no coffee flavor at all, and it was hard to drink. The everything bagel pastry was extremely dry. It was very flat, had barely any cream cheese, and looked very different than it did online. The last item I tried was the traditional glazed donut, which again, suffered from being far too sweet with nothing to balance it out. For a place called “the Salty” y’all sure do seem to prioritize sugar above all else.

The person who attended me today was grocery with me, the only thing I asked for was a bag for my order to arrive presentable.

Nothing to jump up and down about. Using Intelligencia coffee is absurd. Rude staff.

when in the mood for a sweet treat, you can’t go wrong with a donut from The Salty. Always so friendly and the donuts are to die for.

I have been a loyal customer of The Salty Donut for a long time. I come here weekly for client meetings, coworking dates, and I’ve even created multiple vlogs on my large social media platform that brought significant traction to this location. Unfortunately, today I had the worst experience with the manager, Dewon.

I came in, sat down, and began typing an email on my laptop— something I’ve always done while getting settled. Within a minute of sitting down, he approached me and said, “Excuse me ma’am, you need to buy something.” I explained that I planned on ordering a donut, I was simply finishing an email first. He responded aggressively, demanding that I purchase something immediately if I wanted to sit and work.

I made it clear that I am a loyal client who supports this business consistently, but he dismissed me and even claimed, “I never see you.” Not only was this interaction disrespectful, but it also left me feeling unwelcome in a place I’ve faithfully supported.

For an establishment I’ve promoted and patronized so often, this was deeply disappointing. Sadly, you have lost a loyal customer today! I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DIME.

First time customer and the man working seemed irritated . I was asking questions and he was very dry and somewhat rude. I almost didn’t purchase but I wanted to surprise my co- worker with a treat.

Absolutely abismal staff. Im sorry but if I’m paying for overpriced donuts OFF THE BELTLINE the bare minimum you should be able to do is offer free water with a purchase. Another tip, a smile goes a long way

No donuts on a Saturday morning. Whats even the point of being open? Thanks for wasting 7 dollars for parking!

Vibe was cute and the coffee was good too. I tried the cereal milk one.

Donuts are pricey but tasty. Skip the chai. But the donuts are worth a try at least once.
