The Southern Gentleman was lovely. We sat at the bar and enjoyed our dinner there. Food was amazing. bartender was busy talking to customers and several of us were left waiting but otherwise it was great!
Best decision I ever made! Everyone was welcoming and seating was perfect. The food was so good. The fried chicken was probably my favorite. I talked with one of the chefs and he was really nice and welcoming. I would definitely come back for Thanksgiving or just on a regular day. They also validated parking which was nice.
The restaurant is beautiful and the Thanksgiving buffet was set nicely however the meal was just okay. After the first plate I had no desire to revisit the buffet. The dressing was brick like instead of moist, the rolls were not soft, the peach cobbler was overly sweet and the collard greens were over cooked. I could go on about the rest of the menu items but they all had some of the same issues. I don't feel I received my money's worth.
