Spice House is truly a gem, and it’s clear that Timothy, the manager, runs a top-notch establishment. As for the food—simply outstanding. Spice House is a must-visit if you’re looking for excellent food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Timothy has truly created something special!

VERY SLOOOWWWWW service. We waited almost 45 minutes for appetizers. The food is tasty but you could drive somewhere else, eat and be back home before you will get served here.

Now, I passed Spicehouse on Cascade last Sunday and wasn’t even sure they were open. It was empty so I just knew their food and service would be spot on. Went with my bestfriend to finally enjoy some good food and when I tell you the ignorance of the server and the incompetence of the manager on site was atrocious. I got chicken and waffles no issues and delicious. My friend had French toast that was under cooked. Easy fix ? no. The server said, brunch is over so we’ll give you a discount on your food. Y’all she was left with an over cooked piece of fried chicken filet with jerk sauce thrown on it. She sitting next to me talking about I’m really hungry. We asked the server to replace her meal with a meal that cost the same and she said we can’t do that. The manger allowed the change finally so she just ordered a jerk chicken Rasta pasta and she could only find 4 pieces of chicken. She was so hungry we didn’t even bring it up.

After 2 hours we just wanted to leave. Server brought the check and for 2 $6 lemon drops and 2 meals @ 18.00 came up to $120.00. How, Spice house???? How about the amount in the system was different than the amount on the menu. They said they couldn’t change the amount but could discount the order. We both left paying $40.00. The manager wouldn’t come to apologize even though she passed our table multiple times and I know the server was done with us because by the time we left I’d cursed at her when explaining that they doubled everything in the order.

The gratuity on a $27.00 check was $13.69, like where they do that at. Please close and save us all the dissatisfaction of coming here or even better get new management, 2 servers, a bartender and a host on duty at the same time so you can measure up to at least Applebees. Worst experience ever! Do not waste time out of your life! I’m sorry I went.

I went to the Cascade location on 8/21 a little bit before 4pm. The restaurant was practically empty. No one was in there but the waitress/bartender and a lady sitting at the bar. I walked in and the "waitress" didn't even bother to WALK over and greet me properly at the door. She yelled and asked if I was dining in or doing a to go order. I informed her that I would like a to go order and she instructed me to look at the menu. The issue didn't arise until I received my bill for the to go order and saw a 20% SERVICE CHARGE. I asked the "waitress" what the service charge was for. She LIED and said it had always been there. I KNOW that was a lie because I had been in the SAME restaurant, at the SAME location, ordered MORE food than the present visit and was NEVER charged a "service fee." Point blank, she was decided to give herself a tip off my to go order. There is simply no other explanation. She offered to take it off, and I told her she can cancel the whole order and I walked out. How DARE she overcharge me for her own self aggrandizement. Furthermore, insulting my intelligence as if I'm not supposed to notice a fictitious upcharge. My first visit to the restaurant was medicore because of the poor customer service (via the SAME waitress) but the food made up for it. The black rice and Creole Turkey are on point and I had my heart set on getting it again this go around. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. There are TOO many restaurants in the city of Atlanta. That fact the customers decide pass all those other eateries to partake your food specifically, is a GIFT from the community to you! We DON'T have to eat nor spend OUR money at your facility but we CHOSE to! For that fact alone, it is disheartening that your worker would rather STEAL from customers than to serve them. Highly disappointed. If you do go, CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU PAY! Do the calculations, especially for to go orders.

My recent first visit to this restaurant was extremely disappointing. Not only did they not have the majority of items on their menu available, but the tropical seafood dish we ordered, which was supposed to include pineapple, was served without any pineapple at all. The cook didn't even have waitress tell us and allow us to decide if we wanted. The wait time was also excessively long. Despite our efforts to support the establishment, we were left with no choice but to seek a meal elsewhere.
