Note: This is a 21+ establishment at all times. It is posted all over the entrance to the restaurant. You (most likely) will be asked for ID regardless of how old you look, greying hairs, wrinkles, etc., and you may not be permitted to enter if you do not present a physical, valid ID. Children are not allowed anywhere inside or outside the restaurant. It’s not appropriate for children— there is literally a giant penis statue right next to entrance. I spoke to a very polite hostess who explained this to me and said it is frustrating how many people give her a hard time about this rule and try to bring children in, argue with her because she can’t accept a picture of an ID on the phone, etc. The food is great and the burger was one of the best I’ve ever had. Just bring your ID.

These people are crooks. They failed to send a burger in my order wouldn't answer the phone and when l tried to get my burger replaced they refused. We ordered another burger, paid for it AGAIN and it never arrived. DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM THIS PLACE THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND KEEP YOUR FOOD!!!!!!

Everything here is either too dry or too greasy. Tots are good though!

I come here every time I visit Atlanta. They have some of the best-tasting, and most creative burgers I've ever seen. They also have a wonderful selection of beers. Rotating drafts with a few staples, and tons of bottled and canned beers. COME HUNGRY and don't forget to read through the entire menu -- there's some gems in it!

The best burgers in Atlanta. Great atmosphere and very friendly servers. Parking is ok there is a small free parking lot across the street but being on Peachtree Street there are plenty of parking lots around if you don't mind a short walk. It's a safe area but yes if you go in the evening you will run into some beggers it's downtown Atlanta after all. But the food is well worth the minor annoyance. Prices are very good as well especially for the quality you get you will not leave unhappy. I usually go to the other location on Moreland Avenue if you want the full Vortex experience that is the one to go too but both are extremely good. A+++

Parking: Small free parking lot across the street usually has parking in the evening on weekdays but weekends you might be out of luck and have to park at a paid parking lot.

Great burger, had not been here in a few years but the burger was just as good as i remembered. It was cooked to a perfect medium, bacon was crispy, tater tots were great. service was average and a little strange but who really cares when the food is that good, i will say that i prefer the 5 points location.

The Vortex never disappoints. Awesome atmosphere. Amazing food. Cool wait staff. Neat decor. Cold beers. Comedy club in the back. What more could you ask for?! We had a bacon cheddar burger and the ATL chopped cheese this go-around. Both were delish as usual. They have Wells banana beer, my favorite, so had to get some of those. The cocktails in the comedy club were also great…the ATLien, sump-n-fruity and margaritas were all on point. Not to mention the cute bartender in the comedy club ?

Good food, however extremely slow service. Ashley, our waitress seemed to avoid us throughout the night, costing us 2 hours from our vacation. Decor and portraits were tacky in my opinion. Will not be returning.

I placed an Uber eats order, and there was no option to purchase extra cornbread. I called the store to see if they could add a couple of pieces of cornbread to my order and the bartender told me “yeaaaa I’m just a bartender and I don’t really deal with stuff like that” and when I asked to speak with someone else, she said there was no one available. She then proceeded to say “ Maybe it’ll happen maybe it won’t” and hung up on me. I’ll stick with the location in little five points from now on since they don’t have time for all of their customers in Midtown.
