It was my birthday and I got a birthday email 1 day before for a coupon for a birthday treat. I brought it in and they refused to honor it one day later on the day of my birthday without any valid explanation. Felt like a scam to get us to come in. Will not be returning

This place was an absolute experience! Delicious is an understatement. And they have a sink to wash out the glass so you can take it home clean. Which was a game changer for us since we live in SC and we're heading home afterwards! The staff was crazy nice as well.

If Willy Wonka and a unicorn had a baby and that baby opened an ice cream shop in Buckhead, it would be The Yard Milkshake Bar. Tucked just off Lenox Road, this place is less of a dessert stop and more of a full-blown sugar spectacle.

I walked in expecting a milkshake and walked out with a dessert so over-the-top it needed its own zip code. My shake came in a mason jar roughly the size of a toddler, stacked with layers of ice cream, whipped cream, brownies, sprinkles, and possibly a small galaxy. It was so decadent, I think I saw my dentist’s face in the whipped cream, shaking his head in disapproval.

Yes, the shakes are a bit pricey—think $17 and up—but you’re not just buying a dessert; you’re investing in a conversation starter, an Instagram post, and a potential sugar coma. Plus, the mason jar is yours to keep, perfect for storing future regrets or more ice cream.

The staff were friendly and patient, even when I asked if the “Unicorn Dream” shake would grant me magical powers (spoiler: it did). The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, making it a great spot for families, dates, or anyone looking to indulge their sweet tooth in the most extra way possible.

So, if you’re in Atlanta and your pancreas is feeling adventurous, head over to The Yard. Just remember: come hungry, bring your camera, and maybe schedule a dentist appointment for the next day. 

They have a lot of ice cream choices. Pretty decoration but the ice cream will be messy later on.

Glad I found this spot when I wanted ice cream at the last moment. The options were amazing and I love a good shake. My kids were in total amazement by being able to create their own shake. I'll definitely return!

Amazing place to go I recommend anybody coming to the Buckhead location because you have more of a variety. I went on my birthday weekend. I was turning the big 40. It was very special to me after everything that I’ve been through. To share that moment with my mom was the chocolate syrup to my sundae. I have gone to the Midtown location, but the Buckhead location is top-tier and I will definitely be back.

Dietary restrictions: My mom is lactose intolerant and to be able to have an opinion for her was amazing. She had the No Milk and she was so happy that she could eat it without having problems later on.

staff not very friendly. and despite numerous notifications from different customers, they still had not replenished the bathroom tissue
And they were not busy with customers.
