Melody was an excellent server and the food, as always was good. Try the fried green tomatoes! Thrive continues to be a moderately up-scale restaurant in an otherwise sea of mostly mediocre fast food restaurants in the heart of downtown Atlanta.
As soon as I arrived, I was seated by the cutest and sweetest hostess. The server came right over and offered water. She also let me know they have a parking lot and can validate your parking ticket. That was good information to know. It was not crowded, BUT if you order sushi be prepared to wait. It was ok because we are patient people and the menu tells you it takes longer. The food was delicious and the drinks were great! I will definitely return. I am a pescatarian so there...
We had a party of 9 with no problem fitting us in. Some of us had sushi and it was very good with big rolls. The burger and fries were better than expected. Shortrib meal was very good. Service top notch. Manager came out to fix one order and made everything right. Fried green tomatoes and pot stickers great apps. Will definitely come back.
