Crazy experience... We were greeted, we sat ourselves. Order coffee that came literally 15 minutes later. The server didn't bring napkins, was not attentive, forgot my grits. Told us today out she forgot about us all together. The food was tasty. That's what we went for so it's food so, no complaints for the chef.

Why oh why did the owners ever go to full service? We’ve been regulars since Thumbs Up opened in Marietta. Rashaad and his team were awesome! Great food, arrived fast, and plenty of it! This was our go-to after church (along with another family and anybody we invited to go with us).

We ate there today and the process makes very little sense. Now we sit down, wait for a server, then order our drinks and wait (used to get them ourselves), then order and wait (used to order at the register). Previously the food would take 10 minute or less to come out, today 20 minutes (at least). In addition, I received my Toronto breakfast (only received the French toast), ate half of it before the eggs and chicken arrived. Our table is sitting four feet from the coffee and drinks, but have to now wait for the server to come refill us.

The tables turn so much slower, I can’t imagine how this model in Marietta is better. I get it, they want to mirror the other locations, but the Marietta Thumbs Up didn’t need an overhaul, it needed marketing.

We praised and talked up this location, but I don’t think we can do that anymore. I truly hate to say it…you may have lost several regulars. Please bring back the fast casual model and the workers that made the place so great!

We are not trying to be negative, just constructive feedback, as we want Thumbs Up Marietta to succeed!

PS - The one star for service is not reflective of our server, just the new serving process.

Here I had my first southern food experience. Service was very kind and helpful. Very good price-quality-quantity ratio. Loved the grits! I'm sure I'll come back!

Visiting from NJ and found good reviews for this place and it did not disappoint. First our server brought such a positive energy which made the visit great before even the food came out. The grits are so good! All the food and coffee was delicious and great portion sizes and prices.

I had the smoke chicken wings, french toast, and sweet potato fries.

The french toast and smoke wings were the bomb! The sweet potato fries were cold.

There is an online waitlist, I suggest you use it. It is a popular restaurant.

I will be returning to Thumbs Up Diner the next time I visit the ATL.
