I had a great time eating at Tin Drum. They have wonderful options, even for vegetarians. They also have nice boba.

I must express my profound disappointment with the food today. After enduring a day fraught with relentless challenges and taxing endeavors, I sought solace in the prospect of enjoying a meal that would, at the very least, provide some semblance of comfort and satisfaction. With this hope in mind, I resolved to treat myself to some indulgent fare from Tin Drum, believing it to be a well-deserved reward for my efforts. I embarked on a wearying 1-mile journey across campus, my anticipation growing with each step.
Upon finally reaching my destination, I eagerly purchased a Boba Taro drink, complete with boba and ice cream—at least, that was my intention. Yet, to my dismay, the drink I received was a woeful misrepresentation of what I had ordered. The toppings I had specifically requested were glaringly absent, and the Taro drink itself was a tasteless, insipid concoction. It possessed not even the faintest hint of sweetness and slid down my throat with the dull, unremarkable viscosity and flavor of tap water.
As if this disappointment weren't enough, the Mongolian stir fry I had ordered was nothing short of abysmal. The chicken and beef were shockingly dry and utterly devoid of flavor, offering only an unpleasant and unsettling combination of sourness and sweetness that left a foul taste in my mouth—undoubtedly the worst I have encountered this year. The rice, too, was a dismal failure, undercooked and barely edible, a clear indication of the careless preparation that had gone into this meal.
To describe this as "take-out food" would be an undeserved compliment. What I received was an unmitigated disaster, a culinary catastrophe that left me feeling utterly betrayed and unsatisfied. This was not just a meal gone wrong—it was a egregiously grievous affront to the very concept of dining.
