Tomo Japanese Restaurant

My husband and I had a lovely meal. We were there on a Thursday night, and the restaurant was somewhat busy but not crowded at all. We were seated right next to a young couple, who were charming, but.. we could here every word of their conversation. Regardless, we had an enjoyable experience. Our meal was expensive, but we were expecting that. The staff was super friendly. We definitely plan to go back. If you're not a big sushi fan like me, you can definitely find things on the menu to enjoy.

Just fantastic every time we go. Easy valet or self parking. Unpretentious staff that loves what they do. Every dish is done to perfection. This place is as good as the best of the best. It's lively enough without being too loud and it's our go-to for great Japanese!!!

We had the Chef’s Omakase and it was absolutely amazing! Every course was beautifully prepared and full of flavor — a true culinary experience. Our waitress, May, was wonderful and made the evening even better with her great suggestions and warm personality. The atmosphere was intimate and elegant, perfect for a special night out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience in Atlanta.

This may have been a bad selection on my part... I didn't realize how opulent this place was... Very fancy restaurant, seated way too close to another couple when many tables were available elsewhere. I felt like we were sitting with them. Very high prices, small quantities. I didn't think the quality was anything special based on many other sushi restaurants I've been to. We left hungry.  Even though prices were sky high they still charged us a fee to use a credit card which I think is ridiculous. Beautiful decor but I wouldn't visit again. This may have been a bad selection on my part... but the food we had was a nothing special.

Nobu who? No reason to try any other sushi restaurant in Atlanta. I've been eating here for over a decade and it never disappoints. Saturday night was another amazing experience. Perfection!

My sister was visiting from California due to a funeral. She loves Tomo. I've never been. B was amazing!! Don't walk, RUN to Tomo!

For starters. This restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Simple classy with relaxing music playing. We came on a Thursday night and the energy was so still and I really have to say this is one of my favorite dining experiences in ATL. Best Japanese food in atlanta. Very fresh and authentic menu options. Our wonderful server Keith delivered a professional and enjoyable experience and even recommend some yummy rolls! The manager was also very friendly and personable. The matcha tiramisu was a DREAM! A must have before you go. I will definitely be back and this place is ranked very high in my personal favorites. Amazing staff, amazing food, amazing hospitality. Thank you <3

everyone in our party enjoyed their selections from appetizer, entre, deserts, mocktails and cocktails. our server also gave some good suggests and was very knowledgeable about all options. great experience we will be back!

Great service and excellent food. Took my boyfriend there and he really enjoyed as well. We had several things from the menu and none disappointed!

Our server Huy has great knowledge about the menu and was very friendly. The garlic pepper toro was the best roll I’ve ever had in my life. 🤩

This was hands down the best restaurant we dined at on our trip to Atlanta. We started with the yellowtail sashimi, which was a fresh as you can get! DELICIOUS!! Then we had Shrimp Stix, Tuna Tartare, Okra Tempura and Shrimp Shumai. All items were the best ever!! AS MIYAZAKI WAGYU STRIP is a MUST HAVE!!!
All the sushi rolls were amazing. My favorite was the 24K Roll!!
We will definitely be dining here again when we are back in town!!

Our experience is always perfect at Tomo. The menu has many options and everything is delicious. The service is unmatched! We drive two hours to Atlanta to have a date night at Tomo, it’s that good! May is always ready to assist us in making the best selections for our diverse palates. She is amazing!
