Tomo Japanese Restaurant

Tomo is where to go for elevated sushi. There are lots of good or ok sushi restaurants in Atlanta, but we like to go there when we want great sushi. We started our meal with black cod, served hot and eaten like a lettuce wrap. The sweetness from the fish was incredible. We had some seaweed salad to transition to the crab jalapeno, which was ready crabmeat rolled in cucumber, serves on a light green jalapeno sauce. Simple and delicious. The spicy tuna on rice cakes was my favorite, balancing flavor and crunch. The kampachi tartar was brilliant, with diced kampachi and pine nuts mixed together, topped with green fish eggs, and a flavorful foam to spoon on top. Wow!

Tomo is one of my few favorites. Food is delicious and everyone there makes it such an enjoyable experience.

One of the best sushi experiences in Atlanta. Services was spot on. The waiter was able to recommend some dishes and the time between courses was staggered nicely.

Love this restaurant. Everything is always served fresh, service is wonderful and love the atmosphere! Would like to see more locations, perhaps Woodstock and/or Alpharetta. Suggestion; elevate the sushi bar counter so those sitting there can watch sushi preparation. I realize this would likely involve some sort of glass barrier being installed so may not be feasible. But, would be nice if possible. Already looking forward to next visit....Cheers!

Delicious! We had an amazing dinner last night- every piece of sushi was delicious, especially loved the Ritz roll and the tuna app on crispy rice. Martinis were full and perfectly made. Great night!

Enjoyed another good dining experience at what's become our go-to dinner spot. That said, I've noticed we're consistently seated near the wait station. Not sure what to make of that—coincidence or something more?

Food was delicious. The menu was varied so even my kids were able to enjoy it. Highly recommend

Wow! This was the best meal I've ever had. I would literally come back to ATL just to eat here again! Sushi was amazing and fresh, dessert was to die for.

Everything was fantastic! The sushi was amazing, the ambiance is beautiful and the service was outstanding. This is a new favorite spot. Pricey, but worth it.

We had lovely lunch today at Tomo. I had the Veggie Bento Box and it was good. The atmosphere is very nice.

We love a fixed course menu, so we did the $250 option. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't amazing. Tried some different fish I hadn't had before. 8 courses. I just didn't think it was worth the cost and wouldn't do that again there. Everything was very fresh though. Service was great until it got really busy.
