I placed an online order using the tropical smoothie app. Somehow it picked the wrong location and placed the order for Brookhaven (I was in Tucker). Once I got the confirmation I immediately realized and attempted to call the location, first time got a busy tone, second time I called I got through and let them know. She stated she would be able to refund or cancel the order. I requested a manager, she said there isn’t one. (I would have been okay with even next time I go in, having the order made). I ended up going in a few days later, and again, no manager and the shift lead stated there isn’t anything that can be done. What’s the point of the cancel order button if you can’t cancel your order, immediately after? It’s about customer service and the lack of customer service here is sad.
Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! Island Green Smoothie was delicious! Can’t wait to come back and try more items on the menu!

Please take the time to train your associates on how to treat customers with respect.
They should understand that their paycheck ultimately comes from the people they serve. This isn’t the first time I’ve encountered behavior like this, and it’s unacceptable. Regardless of personal frustration, it’s never appropriate to slam or break (didn’t break actually but) things in front of customers. Professionalism matters—even when emotions run high.

The Decatur location is closer but I come here when I’m in the area because the customer service and the acai bowls are so much better. I normally do pickup and the bowls are always ready when I get there, they greet everyone that comes in, and have friendly attitudes. I would have given a 5 star but for some reason I’m unable to redeem my points here and the restroom didn't lock..

Ordered 3 smoothies and redeemed a $2 off reward. After a few minutes, I was told I needed to swipe my card again despite it showing approved when I first tapped my card. I noticed the amount was different and asked about my reward. I was told it was no longer available and there was nothing that could be done about it. I asked for a manager as typically in situations like this, they can manually add the reward. I was told a manager was not available. I decided to take my business elsewhere.
Contacted the store today and spoke to the manager, who said her name was Elizabeth. She stated the opposite= the reward would be added back to my account, despite me advising that it shows expired now in my app. I told her it's unfortunate that you and staff will say anything to a customer to get them to move along but I know the reward is not coming back to me. It's not about the reward it's the way the situation was handled. Slow service and bad customer service is what I experienced 7/27/25. Also, the lock was broken on the women's bathroom and the cleanliness was poor.

I order a mocha madness with half turbinado, no cappuccino, and extra nonfat yogurt. My smoothie tasted like water. I asked for it to be remade the standard way. She reblended the same smoothie, It was still bad. I didn’t bother saying something a second time. I trashed the smoothie and went to Costa Coffee next door.

I ordered lunch and Door Dash delivered. The food tasted great; however, I didn't receive half of a container of corn. Do better! If I had been in person, it would have been resolved immediately.

I eat at Tropical Smoothie Cafe almost once a day in Lawrenceville and for years over in Briarcliff. I don’t know what’s going on at this one but the staff are always friendly at the other places. I order the same thing every time and it’s 18.81. It’s because they do the add the smoothie with food purchase for 4.99. They charge for the full smoothie which on its own isn’t a huge deal but when it happened a second time I asked why the difference I was dismissed by being told prices recently went up (not true I ate there 2 days before) and was told the price of the add ins I get every day. I gave up cause it’s 3 bucks whatever, but then she started talking with her hands and whispering to her colleagues right in front of me like I’M the idiot. They don’t honor the 5 dollar smoothie with food here. Which is just weird. Place full o weirdos. Gave it two stars cause the food was still good.
Ordered through the app for my order to be delivered. So yes the delivery is through the door dash platform. Which I have no control of who they selected to do the service. Delivery person never even got close to my house. Cancelled order for whatever reason. Door dash contacted me and ask if I gotten my order in which I replied,no. Then I called to see if they would refund me my money. The lady stated that due to me using Tropical Smoothie Cafe App. They would be responsible in during so. When I called the store, the caller answered with a hello. I asked if this is Tropical Cafe, and she hung up. So I went up to the store and the manager whom which I know was the one on the phone acted as if she knew nothing about what I was saying. Stated that door dash had to give me my money. I repeated what the care support told me. She was looking confused as if she didn't comprehend. So I said I don't have to have the money, just remake my order please. She couldn't do that either. Stated everything was on door dash. It's now been a week, and still nothing. When I called to follow up the same lady has placed me on hold and now phone is going straight to voicemail. Moral of my story is as long as this lady is at this location I will not be ordering from here ever again.
Every-time I come to this location I always have to wait on my order, despite ordering and paying for it online. They should really figure out a new alternative to fulfilling online orders.
Upon going to this location the customer service was horrible the cashier /worker tried to put rotten bananas on my bowl I ask to substitute a certain thing because of my allergies. And I wasn’t given a option to make me feel comfortable with my purchase I think location needs to be given customer service classes worst location will not be back
