I eat at Tropical Smoothie Cafe almost once a day in Lawrenceville and for years over in Briarcliff. I don’t know what’s going on at this one but the staff are always friendly at the other places. I order the same thing every time and it’s 18.81. It’s because they do the add the smoothie with food purchase for 4.99. They charge for the full smoothie which on its own isn’t a huge deal but when it happened a second time I asked why the difference I was dismissed by being told prices recently went up (not true I ate there 2 days before) and was told the price of the add ins I get every day. I gave up cause it’s 3 bucks whatever, but then she started talking with her hands and whispering to her colleagues right in front of me like I’M the idiot. They don’t honor the 5 dollar smoothie with food here. Which is just weird. Place full o weirdos. Gave it two stars cause the food was still good.

Ordered through the app for my order to be delivered. So yes the delivery is through the door dash platform. Which I have no control of who they selected to do the service. Delivery person never even got close to my house. Cancelled order for whatever reason. Door dash contacted me and ask if I gotten my order in which I replied,no. Then I called to see if they would refund me my money. The lady stated that due to me using Tropical Smoothie Cafe App. They would be responsible in during so. When I called the store, the caller answered with a hello. I asked if this is Tropical Cafe, and she hung up. So I went up to the store and the manager whom which I know was the one on the phone acted as if she knew nothing about what I was saying. Stated that door dash had to give me my money. I repeated what the care support told me. She was looking confused as if she didn't comprehend. So I said I don't have to have the money, just remake my order please. She couldn't do that either. Stated everything was on door dash. It's now been a week, and still nothing. When I called to follow up the same lady has placed me on hold and now phone is going straight to voicemail. Moral of my story is as long as this lady is at this location I will not be ordering from here ever again.

Every-time I come to this location I always have to wait on my order, despite ordering and paying for it online. They should really figure out a new alternative to fulfilling online orders.

Upon going to this location the customer service was horrible the cashier /worker tried to put rotten bananas on my bowl I ask to substitute a certain thing because of my allergies. And I wasn’t given a option to make me feel comfortable with my purchase I think location needs to be given customer service classes worst location will not be back

It was my first time coming here. I did a Mobile order i payed $28.87 for what i thought where going to be a freshly made acia bowls! When i went to pick the oder up. I got what was a joke. The smallest hard rock frozen acia bowl! I will not oder from here it was a waist of money to be honest!

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Ordered for online delivery and delivery driver did not even attempt to deliver food into apartment gate like my instructions specified. Left food on top of call box at apartment entrance and when I asked her to call my gate code to come to my building she said “she was long gone” and just posted a photo of leaving it OUTSIDE THE APARTMENT GATE ON THE CALLBOX. I ordered a flatbread and smoothie combo and all that was in the photo she sent was a smoothie and the rest of my food was missing. By the time I went to the front to get my food the smoothie she left there was gone. I called the store to ask for a replacement meal or refund and they said they couldn’t do anything for me. So, here I am, paid for food I didn’t get and waited 45 minutes for and I have nothing. I am SO unhappy with this whole experience. I will never order from tropical smoothie again and will make sure to share this experience with others so that they don’t have to deal with this headache as well. What a poor customer service experience. And from reading the reviews it seems like this is a recurring problem with this location.

Literally the worst service ever. On 12/31/2024 around 9 am, I pre ordered my breakfast on the app. I waited 10-12 minutes before going into the store. The store was empty, 0 customers. It was two girls working, and it took them another 15 minutes to make my wrap. I am watching the girl move extremely slow making the 1 wrap, as if she was disabled, high or trying to be funny. I had to yell into the kitchen for her to just put it in a bag cause she was going to make me late. Once I did, she started moving at a normal pace. I love tropical smoothie but I will never come back to this location again. I can see why it’s so empty.

Paid never received smoothie! This was the worse service I have ever had... I ordered smoothie online a little after 8:30pm. The smoothie confirmation stated that the smoothie would be ready at 8:48pm. The cafe did not close until 9pm. I arrive at 8:58 got to the door and it was locked. The young lady inside looks at me gestures they closed and refused to come to the door to even speak to me. Clearly the employees had closed right before 9pm. I then showed my phone attempting to communicate that I had an order to pick up. The first young lady looks at me and walks away. Another young lady came from the back and also refused to assist... both refusing to even acknowledge my presents at the door. Finally, the second young lady came over to the door and spoke to me through the glass. I showed her I had an order that was supposed to be ready at 8:48pm. She stated that should would be right back. It was clear that the other young lady that she went to speak with told her not to come back to the door. So, I was then left standing at the door for several minutes and neither one of them ever came back. I then get in my car to warm up. The two young ladies turned off the lights and step outside to lock up and leave.

When they stepped outside, I respectful told them that I had an order that was suppose to be ready at 8:48pm. My order was not made, but one of the employees was sure to make herself a fresh smoothie to-go that she had in her hand... knowing I was there for an online pick up that was paid and could not be canceled. The employee steps outside sipping on a smoothie for herself without any regard that I am a paying customer and my order was not complete, nor were either one of them willing to assist. I was dodged, ignored and disregarded at the door because they wanted close early and start clean up so that they cam leave minutes after 9 o'clock.

I stated to both young ladies, that level of customer service is not acceptable. The employee with the smoothie started that they whoever is in charge gets on them about making smoothies after 8:30pm unless the customer are there to keep from wasting product... but I was there and did not receive anything. Also, if the supervisor/manager has concerns about online orders after 8:30pm then they should set the app where no customers can put in online orders after 8:30pm.

To be ignored and refused service... along with witnessing the employee making herself a smoothie to-go knowing I am a paid customer there to pick up an order that they both refused to even acknowledge or make is not okay, that was a huge slap in the face and extreme unprofessional and disrespectful!

Purchased a sunrise sunset smoothie after attending the the Oglethorpe graduation. I parked in the Publix underground deck and the elevators were not working so I had to take the stairs. The smoothie fell and splashed everywhere. Went back to the store and spoke to the owner and asked if they’d be so kind to comp me another one. He said it wasn’t his problem but he would make an exception for me. Then he lectured me about it and said, “in the future blah blah”. I politely told him thanks but no thanks because he made me feel like I was trying to scam him. I know, I know, he really didn’t have to comp it. However, he was rude to me. I don’t need that and that will be the last $7.23 Tropical Smoothie Cafe will ever get from me.
