The food was pretty good. My favorite was the Jerk Chicken Rasta Pasta seasoning was on point! We also tried the fresh juices, they were very refreshing and delicious?. Fruit Punch & Pineapple Ginger both flavors were bomb?If you’re ever in the area go check them out!

Tropics Moreland is my favorite for Lunch time, it’s giving authentic box food for lunch and still saving. I love the staff at this location they are so sweet and nice. The surroundings is very clean and very nice for doing work if you’re working from home ! I just think this location is a nice self date spot to indulge in! I wish the owner nothing but love for this location ?

We went last night right before closing. They accommodated us and still wanted to take our order. When I tell you, my man is usually skeptical about getting food right before a place closes but last night changed his mind. This place was amazing the two oxtails plates were so good and the rice was seasoned to perfection. We have no complaints at all. The staff was great. The cashier was very nice and sweet, kindhearted person who made our night. We will definitely be back thank you again we really appreciate the service and the great tasting food.❤️

Not sure why this place isn’t rated higher. Normally we might have skipped over trying somewhere like this, but I’m glad we decided to give it a go. ‘Twas soooo delicious. Ordered jerk chicken, rice and peas and an order of festival to go. Amazing. Like standing ovation good. Intown Atlanta needs more of this -small, casual with Buford Highway-level authenticity.

First time here, was visiting looking for good Jamaican food… look elsewhere. Got the jerk chicken, it was just baked chicken with some watery sauce on the side. The chicken was dry and some pieces you couldn’t even bite through. The rice and peas was mid, had a flavor, but didn’t matter because it was mushy. Didn’t bother to try the cold cabbage. Also got beef Pattys and they had no flavor, I would’ve thought the frozen to hot item would have been good but nope! Then to top it off, all of the food was barely Luke warm and the pattys were cold. Considering it was dead, I believed it would have at least been hot food. Glady threw away the food.As for service, she charged us for a drink that we didn’t ask for, then did not want to provide us with the drink. We had to ask 3 times for the drink and she then proceeded to ‘check the system’ for our order even though we were the last and only customers.Bathroom was locked, and dirty.Overall 0/10 wouldn’t recommend, won’t be back. Looking for great Jamaican food, I urge you to look elsewhere there are many in Atlanta try one other than here.

I was on vacation in Atlanta and decided to get takeout instead of dining in at a few Thai restaurants that I wanted to visit. It was 745 pm I decided to go to Kroger to stock refrigerator and visit deli for something quick. And then I saw the Jamaican flag. I beelined to it. The restaurant was very clean and the cashier was very nice. I didn't expect a charge for using a card but I may have missed the signage. She was very nice so I definitely didn't need to complain about a few dollars for nice people. The prices were fairly reasonable for the location $16.95 for curry goat in a major clean shopping center. They goat was flavorful. The jerk chicken $8.95 for meat and bread was very dry for dark meat. The jerk sauce recipe needs revamped. The rice and peas were a little mushy and rice may have been lesser quality and maybe too much coconut milk. The plantain was very delicious so I want complain about paying $3.00 plus for three pieces. Again, The plantain was prepared very well. The cabbage was not flavored well for a Jamaican restaurant. Jamaican restaurants usually have the best tasting cabbage. My Jamaican daughter in love said naw I'm cooking tonight. This not ready yet. We went to world market the next morning and bought our own seasons.

They fell off. Patties and coco bread was mid and they super disrespected me with the jerk chicken plate with the sorriest cuts of chicken 80% bones. Jerk sauce was cool thoEdit: I didn’t know the jerk place was so skimpy and mostly bones until I got home. At that point you’ve already ruined my meal I’m not coming back to the store. Your employees chose to (for whatever reason) give me far inferior jerk chicken than I’m accustomed to (and I’ve had better from you before) so this is all you get. Treat your business as such and these things follow accordingly. Best of luck but won’t be getting my business anymore

The food was good. I have certain quirks that has nothing to do with them. But they use short grain rice, it's not my preference. And I love hot food, but that jerk sauce burns hot. I do like that it didn't taste like bbq sauce, though. They listen to your food requests and accommodate you accordingly. Nice people, especially for a Jamaican spot. Everyone in that plaza needs to dedicate themselves to upkeep of the parking area. The patties die in that box, need to make them fresh or store them better. Would definitely patronize again. Clean inside.

The customer service was amazing but the food was bland as all get out. I never knew rice and peas could be so bland. Like I'm willing to say they used no salt in the recipe. Regardless, I was happy to spend my money where the customer service was so good. The young lady was really nice and the food came out super

The conch fritters were delicious but to be honest, I was disappointed. The jerk chicken was dry and burnt. I just was expecting more.
