Went there to get a quick bite before museum . The bartender was just not interested in serving me or even talk to me properly . There were handful of people at the restaurant . None of them eating . She could not be inconvenienced to bring a menu to me or even greet or acknowledge me properly ! This is an older woman working the bar. 1 pm on friday sept 1st. Do better , its not 2016-17 when you were the only place to eat or get a drink near museum.

Be aware this restaurant listed on this website services and food are very different than what is listed. This place only provides a couple of selected prepacked cold salads, sandwiches, and pot pies. You have to go to the register to place your order, get your food and pay. There are no waiters. If you are only buying a drink you might be okay. The lady at the register was very unfriendly, and not accomodating whatsoever. There are gnats flying around and the floors are dirty. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I came here a number of times about 8-10 years ago. It was fabulous in every way. Elegant, delicious, beautiful… all worthy of the amazing High Museum with which 1280 has always coexisted. Fast forward to 2022. I came in today for the first time since then. Food is insipid, the restaurant is dirty and in disrepair. There’s even stale food on the floor that hasn’t been cleaned up since who knows when (maybe since my last visit 8-10 years ago). Pretty bad. Definitely not worthy of its High Museum / Woodruff Art Center companions. Not coming back.

If you are going to be that snooty you should at least have the food to back it up.My family an I stopped in for lunch because this place was next to the museum. The hostess looked at us like we just put s**t in her hand and told her to clap. The waiter seemed like he was bothered to take our order. The food was not good. Two of our party had the mushroom flatbread. The mushrooms tasted bitter and dirty. The four-cheese flatbread tasted like a bargain pizza from a gas station. The only one of our party who liked their meal had the club sandwich and rated it as "okay." That was the best of the lot.Our bill was over a hundred dollars. We will not be going back. Google will not let me rate this establishment under one star. It does not deserve the one star I gave it.

Delicious. Service was impeccable. Just a few short steps from Symphony Hall. Very calm atmosphere and the food was delicious.

The management of 1280 needs to learn customer service. I went to 1280 last night and I am very disappointed with 1280. My friend ordered one type of pasta and the chef changed it to a different type of pasta. When my friend talked to the manager, the manager said said he changed to a different type of pasta without telling the staff or the customers. This is not now you should run a restaurant like 1280. They did not charge us for the pasta dish but I am still very very disappointed in a restaurant associated with the Woodruff Arts Center.

We went for dinner. I had the steak. It was $34.00. It was not cooked the way I wanted it. The food was not worth the money. When we were leaving after dinner, the best part of the whole evening was when we were going out the door, all the staff said have a good night. Will never go there again.

The wait staff are friendly and plesant to interact with. The food was light and enjoyable after a long walk around the museum. I had potato soup and a small ceasar salad. I've been thinking about the soup since I've had it, so I would consider it must try on a cold day!The restaurant has great lighting and a slightly quiet atmosphere. It's great for dining alone, a lunch date, or for small groups.

Horrible!! We arrived at 6:30 based on our reservation. After sitting for an hour the hostess came with a bill, and we promptly asked, what are we paying for, we haven't received any food?? She went back and in 14 minutes a waitress came and placed Bibb Lettuce in front of me!!! We were very confused and finally realized no one had put our food order in. We offered to pay for the hot and cold tea as we were leaving. The waitress apologized and said no charge! There shouldn't have been a charge! Based on the poor service.... not even one star is warranted!!!!!

Delightful dining experience. Enjoyed our appetizers, very nice service and excellent atmosphere to grab a bite before or after the High museum. So convenient!

I love museum restaurants! And have eaten in many! (Fave is the food court at the East Wing in DC). Service was ok, food was forgettable. I ordered a bowl that had chicken, quinoa and some other veggies. I found a hair in my lunch and had to send it back. The replacement was very sloppy looking. I was surprised that they didn't comp the entree. Over all the food and the ambiance have slipped badly since the pandemic. I love the site and the out door seating, but this place needs a shape-up.
