One of the worst airport dining experiences I’ve had.
I ordered a simple California roll at Umaizushi in the Atlanta International Airport, and it was genuinely the worst I’ve ever tasted. The ingredients didn’t seem fresh, the texture was off, and the whole thing felt rushed and careless. After reading other reviews about people getting sick, I consider myself lucky that I didn’t end up the same way. Definitely not worth the price or the risk.

Ordered two rolls and received one wrong. The waitress did not ask what I wanted to drink as I sat in for dine in. Waitress did not have professional
Attitude. I took two bites of the correct roll and left due to not tasting good. Hopefully this reviews can help but tylhen again no one really looks at airport restaurants so thank you I leaned my lesson to start looking online before ordering at airports .

I got food posioning from the salmon poke bowl here. Never had to vomit on a plane bathroom before- i dont recommend. and I was out for 24 hours before i could hold down water. Service was awful on top of that i was served on a to go container even though I was diner in. The waitress was bored and meandering but ignored any attempts to ask fpr more water or for how much longer it would be as i had a flight to catch and i had assumed i would get my poke bowl in under 45 min after ordering. When i got it, the rice was well made but everything else was minimal and half assed. Not worth 18 bucks! So even if you dont get sick like I did- know its a horrible place to eat for every other reaon.
Im mainly reviewing so I remember to NEVER come back.
The food was DISGUSTING! My daughter who is one eats literally everything and she spit out the chicken. I had sushi and chicken and it was NASTY. Do not eat here. I heard the employees talking about some bugs or rodents in the back and they microwave the food. I wasted $50 eating trash. Well I didn’t eat it. I couldn’t.

The service at this place was the worst I’ve ever experienced. One of the employees was extremely disrespectful — all I asked for was to have my order to go. She turned around, mumbled something under her breath, and then said they could make it to go. I said okay, and then another lady rudely told me that I “just need to leave.” I said, “Excuse me?” and was done at that point.
When I tried to get information about the business so I could write this report, Wesley refused to give me anyone’s name. When I asked for the manager, I was told they couldn’t provide the manager’s name either. Wesley appears to be only a shift leader, not the general manager.
To make matters worse, while I was calmly trying to look up information about the company, he announced to the entire establishment that he would not be able to help anyone until I left — even though I wasn’t in anyone’s way. That was completely uncalled for and unprofessional.
I will never visit this place again, and I strongly suggest management look into how their employees treat customers.

The heavyset waitperson with the long blonde braids, (NOT THE BARTENDER), is one of the rudest, disrespectful and slovenly people I have ever met in a restaurant. Screaming at me like a delusional psychopath across a restaurant of travelers because I moved tables?? The height of rudeness and typical of the low budget mentality of the waitstaff in ATLANTA. Literally tried to start a fight with me because I cancelled mr order and let a couple HAVE my table while I sat at the bar. Can't believe she's an employee of this restaurant. Hopefully no other passengers will have to endure this with their sushi. This is not a good representation of UMAIZUSHI at all.

Probably the worst sushi I’ve ever eaten (and I’ve eaten lots of sushi!) The server warned me that the salmon was smoked salmon, and I thought “How bad can that be?” The answer: awful!! Even the rice was sub-par: not sticky, so the rolls fell apart quickly.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Terrible service! I arrived 3.45 and was asked to seat at the table and promised service. Nobody came for 15 minutes. At 4 pm a waitress came and said that she has to check if the kitchen would still serve me. I said that I only needed a soup. She said that it did not matter. She came back after 5 minutes and said it would be 30-45 minutes due to shift change.

Rude server. Didn't get everything I ordered and a single roll took almost 30 min. The only time they checked on me was when it was time to pay, and then I was delayed more because they had to remove the item I never got. Just skip it and go somewhere else.

Don't know about the maki, but the tuna poke bowl was really good. The bartender was very nice. Maybe I was there on a good night? It's not a place where the word atmosphere really applies -- it's a counter and a few tables in a very busy airport.

its been removed, but nearby Leeann Chin has tofu fried rice options
Dealt with a server named Wesley tomight and because he didn't see me put a tip on my card (because I was planning on giving him a cash tip) he began to make snide remarks and then continued by making snide rude remarks regarding me to his other patrons. Unfortunately, what he did not know is I was going to ask him for change AFTER I finished my drink, but didn't get that far because he was very rude. So, he absolutely did not receive a tip at all due to his horrible attitude coupled with the fact he began to argue with me regarding leaving him a tip smh. He may need a new job if he can't wait until a patron has completed their drink before talking shit about a tip that he is expecting for doing his job he applied to do. He talked himself out of a tip genuinely. Very disgusting attitude and wouldn't recommend. Take your business to another bar in the airport.
