The service is pretty terrible lol. I’ve picked up twice and dined in once. Two out of those times, they’ve forgotten the arugula on my pie. I was hoping that they would take the pie back and toss the arugula in whatever stuff they put on it before when I picked it up one time before but instead, the wait person just brought out a bowl of arugula for me to put it in myself 🙃 You seat yourself like some establishments so that was no surprise or big deal but we waited about 10-12 minutes realizing that no one had come up to serve us so we had to go back inside to find staff just chilling and we had to ask for someone to take our order. I also think the wait person we had is very new so they may have been a little nervous and not as confident so I let that slide. The pizza itself is tasty. It’s not the best I’ve had in Atlanta but it’s close to my apartment and it’s obviously a step up from Domino’s, Pizza Hut etc. I also like that they have vegan cheese and vegan crust options available. But it’s very expensive; I spent almost $50, including tip, on two 12 inch pies.
Great service. The servers and owner are always friendly and attentive. The pizza is great. Highly recommend going there.
I tried the BBQ chicken pizza with jalapeños—flavor was excellent, with a great balance of sweet and spicy. The crust was crisp, and the toppings were fresh.
The restaurant vibe was calm, and while music was playing, it was hard to hear—could use a bit more energy. I sat at the bar area and noticed a slight smell and some gnats, which were a little distracting.
Also felt the price for a 12-inch pizza was a bit high—could come down a few bucks to feel like better value.
Overall, I’d come back for the food, but it’s not quite in my top tier of pizza spots yet.
Our family loves this place. NYC style pizza with good ingredients. The dough tastes 3 day fermented. I've only ordered out and picked up. They renovated the bar area recently and it looks good. The staff is friendly and attractive.
The staff here are super friendly and the food is great! I had an Urban Calzone and really enjoyed it. Will definitely be back!
Wife and I have been coming here for 15 years. Pizza has always been good but the crust has improved since the upgrade from “bar rescue”
Salads are especially good and also the calzones.
I want the businesses in my neighborhood to succeed so badly, which is why I was really looking forward to trying the revamped Urban Pie after its appearance on Bar Rescue. Sadly, I can’t speak to the updated menu because we didn’t even get to make it that far.
When we got there, there were lots of tables open, but not a single one was clean. A server stood there and watched us look for a table, and didn’t say anything as we sat at one covered in the last table’s dishes and trash. Two members of staff, plus another server, came and stood across from us for 10 minutes, chatting with each other and not saying anything to us (but did make eye contact with us as we tried to flag them down). Another server also noticed us, but in her defense, she was busy delivering food while the other two just stood there, talking with each other.
When we finally decided to leave, we had to walk directly in front of them to go out the door. Despite watching us come in, sit down, wait, and ultimately leave, they still didn’t say a word to us. I know Urban Pie has long been criticized for its crappy service among the neighborhood, and sadly, it seems like that’s not improved along with the other updates.
This is such a bummer for me to write. My husband and I have gone to urban pie since we moved here almost 3 years ago. We loved dollar wing night and were always spending a lot of money there during dollar wing nights. We supported them through bar rescue and all of the changes and usually sit at the bar and the bartenders are always amazing.
Tonight we had a pizza to go, the vodka burrata that we loved the first time we got it for $18. Now with it being almost $30, we finally decided to get it again.
What a tragedy. We couldn’t even figure out how to eat this, the dough was clearly too hot and they put the vodka sauce on it - maybe after? And it was just a mess. It was soggy, cold, and honestly something I would never order again. I really want this place to do well, but after waiting 45 mins and paying $30 for this I just cannot recommend it to anyone
Parking: Parking also across the street at the library.

Pizza was ok… needed some more time in the oven. The qr Codes on the bar tell you to order through your phone but the bar tenders want you to order through them… restaurant wasn’t super busy but the service was a little slow…. I’ll come back again to check it out but if it’s like last time, then it will be the last time.

One of the best pizza joints in town. If you like New York style thin crust pizza then this is the place for you. Also their calzones are wonderful.

Pizza wasn't great... Crust was non existent or not cooked through, not sure which. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't eat it again.

So the pizza is solid, but DO NOT order the cheesecake. Easily one of the worst I’ve ever had from a restaurant.

I love this place. Would come here more often if it wasn’t across from zone 6 police station

I received the worst service from Jennifer tonight. After ordering for delivery on the website. I called for status of my order and how long I will need to wait for my food. She said she can’t do anything and proceed to hang up on me. The customer service was horrible. If u spend money the business should have some detail
Or contract on my order if you allow people to order online. If you call the business you should not be hung up on and I spent money. I will never purchase from this business again.
