Came here two weeks in a row. The first visit was incredible with superb service and excellent specials for the night. Revisited a second time this past week and the service was not the best. The server would walk away when the table wasn't quite finished ordering, or had other requests-this happened several times during the night. After getting our food, it also seemed like it took a while for him to come aback and check on the table. Also, there was only the grouper special...
Valenza never disappoints. Homemade pastas are amazing, Main courses cooked perfectly and specials are almost always outstanding. Highlights include polpo (octopus apetizer), pappardelle and the salmon. On the most recent evening we dined, they offered an excellent scallops crudo. Great for dates/an evening out with your spouse or business meals.

Lovely, cozy, charming interior marrying well with our attentive server - not overly solicitous - who quickly answered our wine and menu questions.
Order the bread basket with OO and whipped ricotta. We enjoyed the hearty short-rib pasta and an exceptionally well prepared salmon filet over creamed cauliflower and perfectly cooked lentils.
