This was an amazing experience and Deshaun took such great care of us. The food is amazing and I can’t wait to come back!
We had Rich with us today and he went above and beyond. Gave us good food and drink recommendations, checked on us and was super personable! Steak and eggs for brunch—chefs kiss.
This restaurant is so cute. The food was great and the service by Rich was even better. Thank you! Will surely be back.
I had an amazing time here. Rich was an amazing server! I will be back.
You can’t rely on just atmosphere, the service is terrible, the waitstaff walks around with stank face, I got water, bread and my first course without my cocktail…I hate when restaurants fail with timing. This place looks gorgeous inside but sadly we spent an home for bread water and salad and when we asked about drinks they just blamed other staff…don’t waste your time here
Outstanding ambience, food and service.
The venue is so beautiful..perfect for a small gathering. I surprised my husband for an early father's day outing. I had the chicken and waffles which was delicious. My husband had the shrimp and grits but was not impressed.
The service on the other hand needs some work. It was slow and the restaurant was not busy. And it doesn't help that an automatic 20% service fee is added to the checks....definitely don't deserve that much with the service being not so great.
The food and vibes were phenomenal. Kid friendly.
I would recommend this place for brunch and lunch but for dinner not too much however still a good place nonetheless. Aesthetically so pretty. Lychee martini is incredible!
If you're looking for amazing African food I'd highly recommend this place. From the bread to the entrees to the dessert, everything was 10/10

Love the decor and look of this place, but if I could give the service negative stars I would. I'm not talking about the server (who was actually quite good), I'm talking about the flow and timing of the dinner service - the amount of time it to actually took for each course to arrive was wild. To the point that my guest and I joked that you really had to be determined to eat there.
We sat for well over 30 minutes before any person came to our table. We had to flag down the host on his way to seat other guests and ask him if he could find our server. The host was very professional and incredibly apologetic. He went and found someone. About 10 minutes later a server arrived at our table. The server was incredibly apologetic as well. He said that there was a huge mix-up and and that he would be covering the table. We ordered one round of cocktails and appetizers. The cocktails took 15-20 minutes to arrive at the table. The appetizers arrived much later. When we finally got to the point where we ordered our main dishes, the food took forever to arrive. Our server kept coming to the table and apologizing saying that the kitchen was backed up. I felt sorry for our server because I could tell he was very good. However, he was put in a position to fail because the kitchen was so impossibly slow. We passed on ordering desserts because I didn't want to wait another hour for more food.
The food was good, not great. Two rounds of drinks, two appetizers and two entrees will put you in the range of about $300 or so, which is reasonable. However, of course, they add a service charge. If I had the option to add a tip, I probably wouldn't tip very well here because my experience was not good and it definitely wasn't worthy of 15 or 20% gratuity.
The way the drinks menu was written was really frustrating. Each cocktail had very flowery language about what you are supposed to experience drinking the drink but didn't tell you what the main ingredients were for each drink. Every time we picked a different cocktail on the menu, the server would have to tell us what the liquor was for that drink because it wasn't always listed in the description. Also the font used for the descriptions was so tiny and stylized that it made the descriptions very hard to read.
Avoid the two-seater tables against the wall. The tables are way too close to each other!! We were sat at the middle table. People kept being seated at the table behind us and then would asked to move to another table. This happened 2 times in a row while we were seated. Anytime the person in the chair behind me got up, their chair would bump into mine in a way that was very distracting and had a negative impact on my dinner experience. The chair bumping was unavoidable though.

Service and drinks were awesome. Food was extremely underwhelming. The wait for the food was forever and had no flavor. Definitely won't be going back. Waste of a night out. We saw two couples get up and leave after waiting so long. One couple even left after they waited 45 minutes for just their bread and butter.
I went here with my wife for date Friday. I had to pay part but it was supposed to be valet, but the young man had me park my own car and then I had to pay $10. I had reservations at 8 PM and I wasn’t seated until about 8:15. I never like to sit next to the kitchen or bathroom, but that’s where I was seated, but it wasn’t too bad. Just not my preference, we were sitting there and we were offered Brad and butter spread which was pretty good but it took them about another 15 minutes for to bring it out to bring it out. The food is fresh so it took very long for them to prepare it all in all, it was delicious , and I will make the proper adjustments as far as seating when I return other than that I will say I had a great night. I did feel like I was in another country with the atmosphere. It was a bit loud with all the talking and having a good time ,
Parking: They do have valet, but you park your own car and pay

Wouldn’t go back for brunch. Went this past weekend with some friends for a birthday brunch when we got seated it took about 10-15 minutes to actually receive the menu. An additional 10 min it was for our server to arrive to the table and after we put our drinks in he disappeared for another apx. 20 minutes. I understand that drinks take a while but he did not return to ask us about placing appetizers or our main courses. Keep in mind it wasn’t that busy at all but the servers were mostly MIA. Once he returned with our drinks everything flowed as it should.
I ordered the Shakshuka it was decent but for 3 fried eggs on top of some chunky tomato sauce with some bread a $28 price point is ridiculous. Just order something else that at least comes with a breakfast meat or you’ll be hungry like I was. Other than that the restaurant was beautiful and the staff is very nice. Sax player was amazing I may go back to try dinner but brunch is a hard no.
