Extremely disappointing service! My husband and I had a reservation for Valentine's Day, but when we arrived, we were told to sit at the bar until a table became available. We waited at the bar for nearly 30 minutes, but no one acknowledged us or offered to take our drink order. The owner, who was working the bar area, didn’t even greet us! My husband had to speak up, and the response we got from the owner was, "We had three people call out tonight." That’s not our problem! It's unfortunate because we love supporting places with great food, drinks, and service, and we often share our experiences with friends and family.
It is definitely not what is advertised online. It was disapointing.Food is good. Atmosphere..it was an extremely busy for a Wednesday, service was slow and nobody really acknowledging you when you walked in or offering seating. But the atmosphere overall it is a weird combination of everything that ends up in nothing.Nothing matches, no theme. Def. overcrowded to the point of being uncomfortable.

I hate giving four stars to a place I go frequently, and I really do recommend it. The service tends to be pretty slow, even though the space and bar are both quite small. Food is really good, there just aren’t very many options; just snacks, really. The cocktails I’ve had have been good, but tending toward the sweet side; despite having the *feel* of a wine bar, the wine list is very standard/commercial. I wish they’d partner with Three Parks Wine across the street to get a more interesting wine list; as it is, you could get most of their wines at Kroger (for 1/4 the cost).
All that said, I go there often; the ambience is excellent, the clientele are always friendly, and the food really is tasty. Great place to meet a friend or two for after-dinner drinks.
Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options among the tapas on the menu — I quite like the corn fritters.
Parking: Parking is most available in the lot *behind* the restaurant, for which there’s no signage. Street parking is the alternative, which is usually available.
Kid-friendliness: I wouldn’t bring kids here, except perhaps to have a snack sitting outdoors on a weekend afternoon.

Perfect way to end a Friday night. Great ambiance with music and low lights. Our drinks were tasty, however they both need subtle changes to make it great. I had a gin cocktail.
We had a seat immediately and our server was great!

I took a friend there who was visiting from out of town, and he loved it! Specifically, his hand crafted expresso martini. Vespers is a unique experience, arguably the most diverse lounge in Atlanta.

Really nice. Food was quite good. The place is more of an evening lounge and we were recovering from the heat and grabbing a late lunch/early dinner. Will be back.

1st time trying Vesper last night. All the food tasted like it was out of a can. The elote dip did not taste like fresh roasted corn so it was flat tasting and had a lack of flavor. The lobster quesadilla most certainly was made with canned lobster and was not good, it was served with a tasteless jarred/canned salsa/picante sauce.
The drinks were great, as was the service. We sat at a sidewalk table, (my friend said it was too loud inside), with my pup, and enjoyed the outside atmosphere (a quiet street with neighbors passing by).
If they would use fresh food, the place would be great!

This refined establishment offers exceptional craft cocktails and remarkable service. During our recent visit, a guitarist provided live entertainment, enhancing the ambiance. I have had the pleasure of visiting this establishment on multiple occasions, and each experience has been consistently outstanding. Drink up, because you'll want more.

Food was astronomically priced and sucked. Overall, the place is very gimmicky. Tater tots are not “tapas” no matter how you shake it. To be fair though, the service was excellent.
