If you're looking for the best martinis in town, VESPER IS IT. YOU MADE IT!!! My girlfriends had been raving about Vesper and we finally set a date for me to see what the hype was all about and I was not disappointed. They have some dog friendly outdoor seating, although in nice weather, it goes fast. There is plenty of room inside, but once peak hours hit, you'd be lucky to find a seat, let alone standing room. So get there earlier to ensure a table or seat! Espresso Martinis (on the menu as May Day) here are a MUST - I have been told I also need to come back and try their whiskey espresso martinis so I will leave that review pending for now. The Vesper Lynd is a classic bond inspired cocktail that is also my general drink of choice - and they do it right! I tried the molten lava chocolate cake on another visit to pair with my espresso martini and it was just ok. At least there was the inside was molten, but we found it to be a bit grainy and way too sweet. Will skip that one next time and stick to liquid calories LOL. I WILL be back for those whiskey espresso martinis ASAP. Although I've heard that tequila or rum espresso martinis are the new thing right now? I'll ask the bartender :)

I came here on a Sunday. I didn’t have the food. But I loved the intimacy of the space. It very comfortable with couch seating. One of the bartender was welcoming and attentive while we were there. There was another bartender that made me feel like I shouldn’t be asking questions but I didn’t let that take away from the experience.

Laid back lounge in a newly gentrification neighborhood. The decor is pleasing, drinks are eclectic, seatings are lounge style. Great for conversations..

Best espresso martini in the city. Hands down the vibe is super old school and drinks are fantastic. I try to go back here every time I visit.

I came for the first time on a Sunday night after hearing a lot about it. After being one of the first to enter, my guest and I were treated like one of the last. Among other things: 1)The bartender wasn’t welcome at all and when my guest asked about his ability to make a drink he cut her off saying he could make it but it’d be disgusting. 2) The primary server got my order wrong, one item didn’t come out until 20 mins after my first item and 3)She didn’t bring any silverware for me to use at all. She did however find ample time to kiss, hug and converse with her boyfriend while we weren’t being attended to at all. Would not recommend.

I had company in town on Christmas Eve and we were looking for somewhere with a nice atmosphere, food and drinks. I appreciate them being open and giving great Customer service on a holiday. There’s about 18 bar seats, a few low top tables, few high tops, couches in the middles and a few velvet, plush booths in the back. Out front there’s tables, but it isn’t the season to sit outside, great when weather permits. I like that there’s a different vibe for different guests. You can have a corporate meeting at a table, date night in the back in one of the plush booths or a group of friends on the couches. There was a limited tapas menu and we chose olives $8, pizza $8 and tuna tataki $14. Our drinks were $12 espresso martini and $14 cocktail. I took away 1 star for these things: we went to sit in the back in the booths, but it’s in front of the restrooms. We didn’t want to sit there and just see people coming directly in and out the restroom making eye contact ?. I’m recommending a velvet curtain, saloon door, beaded curtain, that area would be more tolerable. We moved immediately. At the bar there was clean, good looking bartenders, who were friendly and drinks were delicious. The olives we ordered took 20+ minutes to come out. I asked for it and it came out before the other items ordered, but I did think that was long for already marinated olives. When they came I loved them, So good! The pizza on naan bread and lightly seasoned tuna were both ok/mediocre. Tolerable and we ate it. Overall, I was satisfied with the atmosphere, drinks and service. I also appreciate that they gave us somewhere to go on a night mostly everywhere else is closed.

Please check out the dry January menu, you won't be disappointed! I've been sober for two years and it's rare to find a place with a good mocktail, this place has ELEVEN -- and they're not just juice! They have zero proof versions of your favorite liquors, and classic recipes that taste just like the original! Love the vibe of this place, kind of feels like it should be a cigar lounge or speak easy. It's intimate, dim lighting, comfy open seating and only a few tables. Service was quick
